We have just returned from a five night stay at this hotel. The location, directly opposite the beautiful Hallgrimskirkja,is brilliant for exploring Reykjavik and the pick up spot for excursions is two minutes away which is very convenient. The rooms are small so it is...More

Stayed 2 nights (booked 3 but cancelled 3rd night). Room was small and dated, very small bathroom, about 2.5' x 3.5'. Good view of Hallgrimskirkja across the street. Not too noisy being in a corner room with 2 streets below. Staff was very friendly and...More

Hello, I stayed in Reykjavik in November, 2013 and just got back from staying here in August, 2017. The coldest it got in November when I stayed was about the high during the day 51 degrees and about 31 degrees at night. The weather changes there so fast, it could be snowing one minute, then the sun comes out like it never snowed the next minute. The sun rises about 10:30 am and sets around 6:00 pm. The best thing to do is dress in layers. You'll have a great chance of seeing the "Northern Lights" this time of year. But I recommend planning on seeing them at the beginning of your trip in case the weather is not good and they cancel it for that night. In this event, they will move the Northern Lights tour to the next night, which is what happen to us and luckly we had one more night left. If you wait until your last night, you will loose out. It was amazing to see. This past trip I went to the "Ice Cave Glaciers". That is also amazing to see and a must do!
