This hotel is in a great location. We found the rooms to be clean and tidy. The beds were comfortable and we got a good night's sleep. We have stayed here twice. You have to remember that you are in Reykjavik, not Manhattan. Although the bathrooms tend to be a little small and the rooms a bit on the small...

Excellent location! Right opposite the famous church Hallgrimskirkja , a prominent landmark so you can always find your way home! Close to the high street with all the shops and restaurants. There is a supermarket across the road if you need any immediate necessities. There are 2 buildings to this hotel, right next to each other. I would suggest you...

As all the other reviews confirm, hotel is in a great location. Our attic room was basic and small but clean. No lift so you might need a lower floor room if you can't carry luggage up many stairs. The staff we met were always friendly and helpful.

we stayed for a long weekend with friends, don't think we could have chosen a better situated hotel. Rooms were clean, breakfast was interesting, but very good. The staff were always helpful. I would certainly recommend this as a place to stay for a long weekend.

I booked a 5 night stay with Iceland Air with a glacier walk. Everything from start to finish was very well organised and communicated well in plenty of time. The transfers from and to the airports to hotel were stress free and on time. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful with any questions on the local area and...

My husband and I stayed here for the last night we spent in Iceland. It was in a great location (though we didn't know that at the time we booked!) We were able to walk to the shops and restaurants and the waterfront. Our room was clean and comfortable and located in the adjoining building. We didn't eat the breakfast...

Small nice hotel in the heart of the city with a spot on location in front of the Hallgrímskirkja, the majestic cathedral of Reykjavik. The room is basic, warm and clean..perfect if you are busy joining excursions all day; free WiFi available (the receptionist will give you the password upon arrival) and we were lucky enough to have great signal...

Upon arrival in Iceland, we were locked out of our apartment (2AM with two young children in tow), and this hotel was the closest around. The staff was so kind, helped us to our room and when we couldn't all fit, gave us another for the night, too. We didn't intend to stay, but are so glad we found it!...

This small hotel is very central, adjacent to the Hallsgrimkirkja (and that seems to be in sight wherever you go!) pleasant & helpful staff. Breakfast is a bit 'basic' but it feeds you, and the wonderful Loki Cafe is only a few doors away. A few minutes walk from the city main street, and I walked to hotel from domestic...

I booked this hotel for my 30th birthday trip to Reykjavik and I thoroughly recommend it. Basic though it is it's a very comfortable and handy hotel. Right across the road from the hallgrímskirkja it not only is perfectly placed but the great tower is a great beacon should you get lost on the way home at night! The staff...
