The hotel is located very close to both the city centre main street and the Hallgrímskirkja and is ideal for experiencing Reykjavik. The hotel staff were efficient and helpful, the room was warm, clean and although fairly basic it was comfortable and the shower was powerful. Good value for money, we had a great stay here.

This hotel was ok. Some of the staff were amazing and could not have done more for us, others were quite unhelpful. It really seemed to depend on who was on reception. The room was nice (a little on the small side), but had a nice shower. Unfortunately our room had a rotten window lock and didn't close.

So here is my view of the hotel: 1. Room is basic but comfortable enough 2. Single glazed so the windows are streaming with condensation in the morning 3. Lovely staff 4. Very popular restaurant - although we did not eat here 5. Nice wee bar downstairs 6. Very Central for everything Was a good choice to stay here and...

My wife and I loved this hotel. We arrived several hours before checkin but they first allowed us to store our luggage and were then very helpful in getting us into our room early. I didn't get to lay down on the bed until Kate our first night because we'd been so busy but HOLY COW are the beds comfortable....

We stayed at Odinsve January 1-8 2017. We stayed in one of the 2 bedroom apartments, 802, which is right across the street from the main hotel. The apartment was large and clean and an ok view of the city. It's new and furnished with Ikea furniture. Large screen smart TV for Netflix and a 2 burner cooktop, bar fridge,...

Nice hotel with excellent resturant. Had a really good meal/lunch of fish. Monkfish with mashed potatoes - one of the best monkfish I ever had. The rooms was good and the location perfect - if you arrive with car - available parking.

We stadde here during NYE simply due to its location in the center. Since we didnt intend to spend much time at this hotel, we did t care about the bad reviews and did t have any expectations. The water does indeed smell like rotten eggs, so taking a shower made you feel more dirty than refreshed. The beds were...

We stayed here over new years for four nights in a junior suite. Check in was quick and easy. The room was clean and warm with a very comfy bed. For new years the balcony was a bonus, we saw the whole city light up, it was also a really handy place to cool our champagne and beer before we...

The title really says it all. The hotel is very centrally located to all of the Reykjavík city center sites and also the main roads if you are driving yourself. The rooms were quiet-you cannot hear your neighbors. However, the windows were not sound resistant; ask for a room that overlooks the courtyard or is off of the roads. If...
