Would highly recommend this hotel - it's in a great location, just off one of the main streets so just a few mins up the hill takes you to Hallgrimskirkja and down the hill takes you to the main shopping street and beyond. We could walk to most of the sights within about 10mins (depending how much snow you have...

Great location near Main Street and restaurants. The room was spacious enough with individually controllable heaters - so we could keep the bathroom warm and the bedroom cooler with no difficulty. Good mini bar, tea and coffee and ironing board all provided. Very helpful staff and we would certainly come back here if returning to Iceland. We often stay in...

Perfect location, right in the middle of everything, a short walk from the cathedral, shops, bus station, sea! Room very modern, was lovely, hairdryer, shower products, iron in the room. Friendly staff, very helpful. Iceland was magical, would definitely return and would stay at this hotel again.

Just returned from a 4 night stay at the Odinsve and were delighted by the standard of the rooms, great location and the brilliant reception staff who were all really helpful with giving us directions for our trips in the car. The hotel is close to the Hallgrímskirkja Church which is a good landmark when driving back to the hotel....

Location is fab as only a couple of minutes walk from the main town centre. The room was a twin room, clean and decked out with fridge and coffee facilites. Not the biggest of rooms but didn't spend much time in it anyway as too much to see! The staff were very helpful and the breakfast to die for -...

Went to Iceland for our honeymoon over New Year's. Staid here while in the capital. The staff was super helpful and friendly. When our flight got in well before the check-in time for the hotel they kept our baggage and because they knew we were on our honeymoon they got us a room earlier than we were supposed to (and...

Great location - quiet but just a few minutes stroll from the main street. Excellent staff - friendly, professional and always helpful. Had some bar-food in the restaurant as we were heading for a Northern Lights tour but was sorry we weren't staying for a full meal - what we had was excellent and the atmosphere was great. We were...

Arrived at 8:30 in the morning and they held our bags while we had breakfast. By the tie we got back our room was given to us early. Super clean and everyone was friendly and helpful. Close to main shopping street and only a short walk to everything.

I think it depends on what your expectations are. This lovely hotel was quiet, clean, short walk to shops, restaurants etc. Extremely comfortable beds. Really lovely, friendly, helpful reception staff who were representative of the wonderful Icelandic people as a whole. I guess I was a little disappointed as it was described as a boutique 4* hotel. I was expecting...
