We only stayed here for one night. Our accommodations were very basic and the furniture reminds you of a dorm room. Not super clean, but it did just fine. Wifi connection is very very poor. Staff are friendly, but not super helpful. The bathrooms were not clean and the shower ( at least in our room) was very temperamental, it...

The location was great, for access to the bus station, and the main Street for shopping. the breakfast was reasonable. It is important to mention that I think you should not stay here if you rely on the wifi for your work, it was useless.

Dreadfull wifi - intermittent and so slow then goes off and on constantly, room not serviced very well (no toilet roll replaced!!) TV switches between not working (except One icelandic channel) and then about 5 channels dedicated to cinema trailers. Rooms and corridors need an upgrade - graffiti in lift - staff were mixed - two really great girls but...

We stayed in a two bedroom apartment with a kitchenette. Perfect for four. Bay front, great view of the Imagine Peace Light and easy access to the main highway. Breakfast was hardy and the staff was friendly and more than happy to suggest places to see. Would definitely stay here again.

I´ve stayed here twice in September. First time I stayed in a single room which was a bit too small but enough for all my needs during the stay. Furniture was a bit old but still in OK condition. Second time I stayed in the apartment which was really spacious, with kitchen and "living room" there and nice view of...

Stayed here for the first and last night of our short tour of the Northern Lights and other wonderful parts of Iceland. Ideally situated for the Town centre and Harbour. The rooms were to a good standard, but the most impressive thing of all was the food. One of the best breakfast buffet that I have ever experienced.

We stayed here at the beginning and end of our trip around Iceland. We chose the hotel as it offered free parking and was within walking distance to Hallgrimskirkja and restaurants. The rooms both times were 'historical' although only the second had an explanation as to why. This can be a bit off putting however while the rooms were small,...

Stayed at the Fosshotel Baron as part of and Iceland Air package deal to see the northern lights in March 2015. We were pleasantly surprised by the hotel. Our room was a very good site with everything we needed. Our room was at the front of the hotel and overlooked the sea and mountains outside. What a view! Water smells...

A good hotel, close to the centre of Reykjavic, comfortable rooms, and excellent breakfast(included in price). On the tours and airport pick up routes, reception was efficient. En suite very nice, but shower only, hotel and room very clean. Would certainly consider staying here again if we come back to Iceland

We will deal with the cons first. We hadn't been to Iceland before and decided that we would visit for 5 nights. We chose the Baron Hotel online and arrived on Sunday 20th September 2015. First impressions at the Hotel front desk were good. The two staff on duty greeted us warmly and we went up to our room, No.215....
