I was staying for two nights and had a room on the 4th floor. The room was quite small but perfectly adequate although it could have benefited from some minor maintenance. e.g. shower riser damaged/loose and some lights not working. Breakfast was very good with the usual continental stuff plus hot hard-boiled eggs. Room also had a small fridge. TV...

Just returned from a 3 night stay and have mixed feelings. The hotel is clean. Rooms are cleaned daily. The noise from within the hotel is awful. We were on the 4th floor and heard a two hour domestic word for word from 4am-6.30am From the 5th floor til we asked reception to ask them to pipe down! Then the...

The hotel was clean and warm with a friendly staff and a good European style breakfast. The hotel was down the street from the Culture House and an easy walk to other museums and the center of Reykjavik. The hotel has rooms downstairs to store luggage before and after checkout. Our first night there was a Monday. The bar across...

Centerhotel Klopp is the perfect hotel for a stay in Reykjavik, it's right in the heart of the city, on the main shopping strip. The staff there were exceptionally friendly, the room small (as many in Europe are) but warm and cosy and the breakfast was delicious. I would absolutely recommend booking this hotel as it was very reasonably priced...

This was the second time in 18 months my mother and I had stayed at this hotel and once again we had a pleasant stay. Situated in a side street off the Laugavegur you are minutes away from its abundance of shops. I always enjoy the continental breakfast here but should you feel the need for something extra there are...

We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights and it was very nice. Clean rooms , friendly staff the only thing is the room has two twins pushed together. My hunny and I wanted to snuggle and one of us kept falling down the crack! Very lovely hotel tho overall.

A lovely hotel tucked into a quiet corner of center city. Rooms were tastefully furnished and the hotel offered a breakfast every morning including an early one for people leaving before 6 am. Staff was friendly and helpful. Sign of a good hotel: when the elevator broke, a note said it would be soon repaired. It was.

A 3* hotel in an excellent location. Perfect for seeing Reykjavik. Rooms are small/compact but we were only staying for 3 nights and were out most of the time, so really not a problem. Generally a good standard of cleanliness. The fittings were a cheap, but overall nothing to complain about. Wifi decent speed. Friendly staff. Breakfast excellent - very...
