The hotel could not be situated better, close to the main town and the coast. It is also handy for a soup and salad bar, open all day, if you want a good value meal, given the prices here. The breakfast is exceptional for a 3* hotel. Rooms are clean with a comfortable bed and not noisy at night. Only...

Travelled with my Husband, Daughter and her partner to celebrate New year. Hotel is small but very clean and well kept. The Rooms are spacious enough but the wet room/bathrooms are not to my liking - water went everywhere !! Breakfast was included but with a very limited choice. Staff were brilliant and very informative and keen to help. This...

The hotel is in a great location - convenient to bars/restaurants/shopping in downtown Reykjavik. Our room was average sized. We did have an issue when we checked in where it appeared that the bathroom hadn't been cleaned (toilet had not been flushed, there was a ball of hair in the shower near the drain...) but they moved us quickly after...

Me and my husband stayed at Centerhotel Klopp over the new year week 2016/2017 as part of our honeymoon. We booked Klopp as we had friends stay there in the past and knew it was central and it was a good price. When we arrived we had travelled from Boston, US and we had been awake for over 20 hours....

We stayed for 4 nights after travelling to see the northern lights. Hotel is a good location for the centre of town. The room was clean and daily room service was excellent. Breakfast did the job (mainly continental with boiled eggs and flap jacks). All staff were happy and helpful. On our tour we were told you can only see...

2nd stay at centrehotel klopp and once again very happy. We had a superior room on top floor so away from street noise there is a bar opposite the hotel and this is noisy on Friday evening in the early hours but our room was fine. Room comfortable with everything we needed, staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast is buffet style...

We stayed here for 4 nights for our trip to Reykjavik booed through Secret Escapes and couldn't fault it. We'd never used Secret Escapes before, but there wasn't a single thing wrong with our holiday at all, and the hotel was great. Check in was quick and easy. The room was lovely and very warm, great for us Englishmen! The...

We booked here for our honeymoon just a few weeks ago. We arrived late but hotel reception staff were very welcoming and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable with beautiful view of mountains .breakfast was good if you love a continental. Throughout our stay we had no issues at all. Would highly recommend this hotel and the city of reykjavik.

I stayed here with my friend and I couldn't have wished for a better place. The outside belies the interior. The rooms were spacious and well laid out the bathroom was clean and looked great. The hotel is perfectly located, the town square, old harbour, main Street and the beautiful cathedral are all less than 10 minutes walk away. The...
