I visited this hotel in February with my boyfriend. The location was great ,just off the main shopping street. View room room was beautiful. Hotel has everything you need and staff are very helpful when I comes to organising tours or re booking them. Will definitely be back:-)

We visited Iceland for 3 nights and found this hotel online. It looked as if it was well located for wandering around Reykjavik and I was not disappointed - it's a block away from the main shopping street and about 5 minutes from the harbour. The reception area is quite large and airy with sofas to one side and table...

Small but clean hotel. Seemed like one of the older/less modern centerhotels. Lots of construction going on all around the hotel and right outside my window so it was very loud. Overall not bad however.

2 most positiv points of this hotel: position (right in the center, 1 min from the most famous street in Reykjavik and 5 min from the harbour & excursions departure place) and the view from the window (we were at 5th floor). The breakfast could be better, but we can say it's ok enough. The staff didn't seem very friendly......

I've stayed twice at the CenterHotel Klopp, and both have been very good stays. The first time, it was great home base for exploring Iceland and Reykjavik, and super convenient to the weekend "Runtur" party along the Laugavegur. The second time, the Klopp was a great place to kick back for a few days on my way back from a...

The bar across the street played live music until midnight (streets are very narrow in Reykjavik). Walls are paper thin at this hotel so if it sleep you need, don't stay here. No electrical outlets for USA visitors. The front desk young lady was not helpful or friendly. Room was clean. Location for shopping is good.

We stayed overnight on our very short stopover on the way to London from NY. It was perfect- centrally located, reasonably priced and helpful staff! We arrived early in the morning so could not check in straightaway but were able to leave our luggage in a locked room, freshened up and go on a tour! dont forget to try an...

The CenterHotel Klopp was ideally located for walking around Reykjavik, the staff was helpful and friendly, our room was pleasant with a nice view of the bay, and the overall experience was enjoyable.

If all you're looking for is a place to crash at night, this might work. While it's nice that breakfast buffet is included, location is good and the staff were very friendly, the hotel itself leaves a lot to be desired. Construction next door seems quiet at night. Some of the rooms were teeny (as in, have to crawl into...

Fantastic hotel in perfect location! Just off the Main Street. The staff were extremely helpful. They gave plenty of advice where to eat/go & dealt with any query. Breakfast was good! Great to start the day with. Hotel room was nice, bit basic but perfectly practical. Great stay, highly recommend.
