Very basic accomodation in good location near to the city center. The rooms are small but clean. We had a double room without bathroom. The toilet and the shower were in the floor. We didn't have breakfast. The service is good we arrived in the middle of the night and everythingh was OK.I think it's good for a short stay.

More than a dozen rooms share 3 toilets and 2 showers... It gets crowded and dirty quickly in the evening... The showers are in poor repair as well. The room are small, not well clean and extremely noisy. Each room is separated by the next one by a plastic partition that doesn't muffle the sounds. Our one was next to...

The accommodation is basic if you want a central base in Reykjvick and just need a place to crash for a sleep. Staff were helpful and the 3rd floor was kept clrean and tidy. The common area ok and the lift to the floor a bonus. Its a pity the locals & visitors treat the path outside the building for...

The guesthouse is situated in central Reykjavík in the shopping street. Since hotels in Iceland are really expensive, this one is no exception. For 90€ a night you get a small, clean room with two beds. Showers and toilets are outside in the hallway. It's okay if you just want a clean place to sleep but if you want something...

Kitchen for making light meals; accessible with elevator and some rooms have private bath. Extremely helpful staff. Deal on breakfast buffett in restaurant downstairs. Many visitors from all over the world. Safe, convenient and welcoming.

For the money, my friends and I thought this place was totally fine. The bathrooms were always clean, the kitchen area as well. The room was plenty big for four people and the sink was a bonus. This is very hostel like, but considering the price of things in Reykjavik - we were pleased. We stayed four nights in total...

I can't say enough about the guest services here! So helpful and accommodating! They emailed me 2 days before arriving to confirm everything and gave me a final price, which was lower than what I booked for, score! We were a group of 16 traveling together and had 4 rooms and all the rooms were clean, with plenty of space...

The first thing this expensive but substandard hostel needs is new hotel quality bedding. The sheets on our beds were stained and pilled from too many washings, and the cheap quilt and pillow case were pilled as well. The next thing it needs is better quality carpetting. The third thing it needs is new double or triple glazed windows because...

The only advantage of this so called guesthouse is location. For the rest it's a terrible dirty "hole" with beds and the rest of furniture from garbage dump. I was afraid to enter bathroom which is shared which is actually normal for economic places in Reykjavik, because of dirt everywhere. And was sleeping dressed with a hood because it's impossible...

Reykjavik is a expensive place for tourists. Ist hard to find an accomodation in the city which has a good Price. But for the Price you pay here at 101 guesthouse, you get less you can expect. Of course, its not a Hotel. But this hostel-like location is less you can expect for 90 euros a night: Thin walls, poor...
