Well! A good stay for 2 nights. The place is 15min walk from BSI terminal. 25min walk to stores. The rooms are average size, and clean. 1 bathroom is to be shared by 4-5 rooms but as what i experienced, didnt get a hard time of using it. The reception is only open from 0800-1600, so if you arrived at...

It's conveniently located within walking distance from all attractions and city centre. Hostel is spread across few buildings, all next to each other. There's a kitchen, I was able to prepare a meal there. Bathrooms are shared, they're generally very clean. However they really need to change brand of hand soap they use, it smells so bad. So if you...

Dear Ash H, Thank your for sharing your experience in our hostel. We are happy to read your satisfaction. We took note of all your comments. About the smell in the bathroom, it is one of the funny-surprising fact of Iceland : Visitors to Iceland often ask why there is this smell of "rotten eggs"... This is because the hot...

Good value for money if you're just staying the night. The bathrooms were too old and not that clean. One bathroom have an old bathtub with a curtain shower so the bathroom are always wet and stinky. Another bathroom had a tiny shower with the door completely loose... It was impossible not to touch the door, making it: disgusting, uncomfortable...

Dear Mari-verdun, Thank you for taking the time to post your comments. We continue the renovation in all bathrooms. In one of our building, there are completely finished and new, and we have already started the next one. The door has been fixed in the shower. Thank you for pointing out our good prices. Warm regards, Thomas

I had a beautiful moment there. I paid for the breakfast and it's was great. The room was clean and sunny. The breakfast is expensive ( everything is expensive in Iceland anyway ... ) but worth it ! I recommended this place.

This is a great location, only 10 mins walk to Laugavegur and all other sites. The rooms in the main building were very spacious and had a small kettle and sink in the rooms. Breakfast was expensive and didn't have a great selection.

First time in Iceland andd was not disappointed. Overall a nice place to stay and its best asset is the staff. It will be nice if they do better maintance to the showers. Iceland is not a budget friendly place but it's a must see. This hostel offers a breakfast buffet with bread, cold cuts, pastries and hot and cold...

We stayed here for a friends stag do, it was a good place to stay with a group as there were rooms suitable for 3-4 people including 1 bunk bed and 1 double/ single. Only downside is there are 5 rooms on one floor and only one toilet and shower to service that level unless you go downstairs to the...

I chose this hostel for the location and the common area/breakfast room. When I arrived I was told my room was actually at a separate location about 3 blocks away (a 5-10 minute walk), near a busy intersection and highway. Check in was a little surly, which was completely different to all the other service I got in Rey. Everyone...

Dear Stevinazo, Thank you for your comments. We took note of all your details about the other building. It is located at 220 meters from the reception building. It depends of people, some of them walk this distance in 3-4 minutes. There is a parking area all around the place, on the street, where you can park for free. There...

Located about ten minutes from the Hallgrimskirkja, this hotel was comfortable for a family of four. Breakfast was very filling. The only problem was that in winter the office was only open from 8 to 4, but other than that it was a great place to stay. Reykjavik is expensive and it was a very good option.

Stayed here for a night in the dead of winter. Arrived very early and was offered a place to store luggage until my room was ready. Our private room was clean, comfortable, and spacious enough for two people. And parking on the street was free and easy. I'd definitely recommend building "5." The shower and bathroom on my floor was...
