Brilliant location, very central to main streets for shopping & dining. Room was fairly large with seating area and tea & coffee facilities, with comfortable beds. En-suite wet room was fairly spacious with shower gel & handwash. Breakfast was good in pleasant surroundings. There is a small bar with seating area in the lobby which serves reasonably priced drinks from...

I stay in hotels all over the world on business and sometimes can get a bit fussy when on holiday. However no complaints at all about the Plaza. Our room was a bit out of the way - upstairs and then down some others, but the room itself was fine, clean and with enough space without being too big. Noise...

The hotel is conveniently located in the centre of old Reykjavik, close to all sights, restaurants and shopping. Our room was in the old part, which was very old, sixties style at best, and you almost needed a map to find it, but the room was big enough and the bed comfortable. Shower was very small. Breakfast was very nice,...

couldn't get a better location in the middle of town; close to restaurants, music venues, historic buildings and next door to tourist information bureau. tour bus(es) stopped right outside the front door; easy on and off for Golden Circle Tour and all the rest.

Stayed last week. Carpet needs replacing, elevator was OOO for 4 days. That said, room was fine, location is perfect. Right smack dab in center of Reykjavik . Staff was friendly and breakfast was filling.

We had an amazing holiday in Iceland and the hotel contributed to this. Convenient central location, excellent breakfast and was given an upgrade and treats because it was my birthday. The staff in general were very helpful although we did have to make them a aware of a couple of small problems with the room which were not resolved during...

Plaza is in a great location, at the end of the main dining and shopping street in the city. Great restaurants and bars all around. The hotel itself is very clean, and some of the top floor (8) rooms have access to a shared balcony with great views. The staff is more than helpful, willing to assist with arranging transportation,...

This is a nice clean hotel in great location. I visited on a trip with a large group of ladies for hiking and sightseeing. The staff was very helpful with tour planning and directions. It is within walking distance of great shops, restaurants, the harbor, museums, etc. There's a small bar. And great hot breakfast.

Recently stayed here for 4 nights and couldn't believe how central it was. The hotel is within walking distance of shops, bars, supermarkets and the harbour. We had a lovely room on 8th floor and really enjoyed our stay. Buffet breakfast was very good and the staff very friendly. Happy hour in the bar every night.

We stayed here for 3 nights just recently on a bed and breakfast basis. Our double room was clean, well heated, the bathroom was well equipped (note the shower was slightly different, you pull the tap down for the shower to work). Breakfast was very good with lots of choice, hot or cold and delicious breads, enough to set you...
