We stayed here twice, at the beginning and end of a week's driving tour of the south west. Although there's one reception it seems there's 2 parts of the hotel; a main part and a part you access over a link corridor "bridge". Our first night was in the "linked" part and the room was a bit tired. Having said...

We booked this hotel as part of a package. Looking at their website I expected a 'Danish style' hotel (as in 'very basic and not refurbished since the 1970s'), but I was positively surprised. Reception was friendly and knowledgeable (I think they can book almost every tour in Iceland for you). We couldn't get our room until the check-in time...

4 of us stayed for 3 nights in February. We had two rooms, both were clean and a good size. Spectacular view from our windows. Beds were comfortable and clean. A good breakfast buffet every morning too, which is a great bonus in Iceland, where things can be pricey. Centrally located, we could walk to most main points of interest....

Really enjoyed our stay at Centerhotel Plaza. Situated at end of the main road where all the restaurants and bars are. Bus tours pick up outside the hotel. Breakfast was good with wide range of choices: cereals, breads, eggs, ham, cheese, bacon, sausages, and oaty biscuits. Our room was average size with small bathroom. Hotel could do with a refurbishment...

They gave us a map and showed us where to...

We spent two nights at the Plaza, one at the beginning and one at the end of our holiday. Our first room was 133. It was comfortable but not very big, and, strangely difficult to find. It did not give us a particularly good impression of the hotel. The buffet breakfast had lukewarm food which was not replenished very quickly....

Could not get any better for the location, walking distance to everywhere. The breakfast is delicious and although it is the same everyday, there is enough of a variety to switch up. The rooms are small for North American standards, but are adequate and spotlessly clean. Beds were comfortable, love the heavy duvets. The front desk staff are VERY helpful...

Very convenient location. Excellent room as i slept like a log there which isnt here as i dont always sleep well. However the sheets and bed were very comfortable and the pillows were just right. Breakfast was amazing as i was expecting some small cold buffet but that wasnt the case at all. Very very impressed!!!!!!!
