Couldn't recommend the hotel enough, perfect location right in the centre of downtown Reykjavik. Within minutes of walking out the hotel you are right in the thick of all the shops and restaurants that Reykjavik has to offer, including landmarks like the Harpa concert hall being just a 5 minute walk away. The hotel itself was nice and comfortable, with... More

This hotel is in the best location. The desk staff is amazingly helpful. The breakfast is plentiful and pretty good. The happy hour was well enjoyed. There are a few things that you should know though. This hotel is noisy and the rooms are very basic. If you can live with that, then, for the money this is an amazing... More

Bathroom was filthy and smelt like urine. Room was so noisy- I don't think there is any acoustic insulation. Pillows were flat and saggy! Breakfast was nasty!! Do not eat scrambled eggs!!!! Warning!!!!

When we checked in we were assigned a room on the 4th floor, but there was a problem with that room so the front desk staff quickly assigned us to a different, upgraded room on the 8th floor. Our room was newly renovated, reasonably spacious, had a small balcony and a nice bathroom. On the 8th floor, and on a... More

The location of the hotel was fantastic and the staff was very helpful. It is close to many restaurants, pubs, shows, shopping, and the waterfront. There was a skating rink right in front of the hotel as well giving it charm. I was in room 231 which has a nice view of the town, was of good size, and the... More

Stayed here on a trip over new year as an adult family. The hotel was clean generally and mostly well kept and the staff friendly. Location was excellent being right in the hub of Reykjavik but away from the high street and so we had no problems with noise. WiFi in the hotel was free and reliable with a reasonable... More

This hotel is a tourist hotel with maybe a couple hundred rooms. Located in the heart of the city. Walking distance to too many restaurants, bars, and souvenir shops to count. There is a lobby bar but no restaurant. Breakfast was included with bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, all made in large batches. Oatmeal, breads, cheese, fruits, juices, coffee, etc. Front... More

We stayed for 6 Nights at this hotel and arrived on the night of the storm, where all our tours got cancelled, even the next day. All thanks to the hotel staff, who helped us check and rescheduled the tours. I know - it appears to be very normal for them, but to us, they had to be the busiest... More

I was very impressed with this hotel, I’ll stay here again if I get the chance to visit Reykjavik again. We stayed in March and the rooms were lovely and toasty. The beds were big and firm and the en suite was spotless. There’s a lovely bar, with couches and a fire as well as tables and they do cocktails.... More
