Traveling with my wife and teenage daughter, sharing a triple room. We got to the hotel wright in the middle of the quarter final match between Poland and Portugal (YES WE ARE THE EUROPEAN CHAMPIONS). The square was packed with soccer fans and it was impossible to park the car to check in so we decided to have dinner elsewhere...

This hotel is located next to all the great nightlife of Reykjavik. We were on the 6th floor and enjoyed the balcony which over looks the plaza where futbol is played on the big screen. The hotel kept are bags for us until check in since we arrived at 5 AM. There was an extra bed in the room as...

Very central location. The downside is that there is a lot of noice around the hotel. Even the sound from the aircraft to the domestic airport. OK breakfast. Friendly staff. Simple and run-down hotel. Dirty in some places. Poorly cleaned. No safety box in the room.

My Mother and I had booked a tour to Iceland for 10 days and we had ordered an early check in at a cost of $278. When we arrived, they did not have a room for us until mid afternoon even though we paid for a entire day and it should have been ready for us the day before. When...

It has a good location, the main advantage of this hotel. It is at the end of main street in Reykjavik, near the harbor. Everything is walking distance from there (for central area). Some rooms offers a great view to the sea, from where you can see the sun set. Stuff is polite and friendly. Breakfast is average. Elevator is...

What a wonderful location. Everything is within easy walking distance. Restaurants, cafes, shops, museums, waterfront and helpful tourist information nearby. Hotel reception staff very helpful and informed. Buffet breakfast has a wide selection. The hotel is adequate but you don't go to Iceland to stay in your bedroom!!

I very rarely give 5 stars to any place, but we had a fantastic stay at this hotel and it was all due to the front desk staff who could not have been more charming and helpful. Also, the location is terrific and more so as it was in the centre where an outdoor tv screen was set up to...

We stayed at this hotel on the last night of our five day trip around Iceland. While the location was excellent, the hotel was very disappointing. The front desk staff was friendly and efficient at check-in. We headed up to our second floor room and immediately noticed the construction materials all over the hallway. Apparently they're undergoing a major renovation...

Start on the positives, only 2. Great location and I enjoyed the breakfast, that is it. Stayed on 2 different occasions because of the tour I was on First stay was a horror story. Large room but the sheets were stained and had holes in it. The curtains were torn, the hand basin in the bathroom was cracked and I...

We arrived early morning and the Front Desk Staff gladly stored our bags for us and gave suggestions how to spend the day before check-in later that afternoon. Although we had rented a car for sight seeing in the region, we found that everything we wanted to see within the city was walking distance from the hotel (tourist center, shops,...
