Great apartment/hotel business that has rooms and apartments scattered across multiple buildings around downtown Reykjavik. We arrived late Saturday night when the streets were full of revelers at the bars outside of our room, but aside from that first noisy night the other nights were generally quiet. The apartment was a bit tired looking but suited our family fine. Our...

We stayed for one night in a studio in Apartment K. The price was really reasonable for the standard of the accommodation. The apartment was quirky and modern and smack bang in the middle of the city. The staff were also really friendly and informative. We were able to avail of nearby street parking which was free after 6pm and...

I just returned from a trip to Iceland with 3 friends and had a good experience with Apartment K. Since there were 4 of us, we decided to rent the deluxe 2 bedroom apartment. They don't assign your room/location until you get there (they have various spaces around the city) but we stayed in the main Apartment K building (the...

I'll preface this with the only negative of this place...the walls seem paper thin. Not much insulation protecting your ears from outside or noisy neighbors. We were unfortunate to have the inconsiderate rowdy neighbors, so it isn't completely on Apartment K, but it was still slightly disappointing. Keep in mind we were out unitl 4-5 am every morning, but we...

We have just returned from a week-long stay at Apartment K, having paid a very reasonable price for our accommodation there. On arrival, we were given an upgrade to de-luxe, since it was deemed that we were staying for quite a while. We were a little surprised by this - but obviously pleased. We left our luggage at the hotel...

I made a booking under booking.com but cancelled it within the duration of free refund. This was because I happened to see some negative experience reviews in this website and I found a better place. However the apartment already charged the booking to my credit card and did not refund it with the booking cancellation. All contacts with the apartment...

We stayed at the Þingholtsstræti area which is right in the middle of town. We had to walk across the road from the main check in reception to another apartment down the road. Is a small town u probably finish Walking in 30mins. Very convenient with many eateries, bars n restaurants. However the 1 bedroom apartment we were given across...

It's a little confusing at first because the location for checking in is probably not where you will be staying. This is a good thing to know before you spend time finding parking near the address you are given for check in. They seem to manage apartments all around town and we were driven to ours right in the heart...

Good location in downtown, we have an one bedroom apartment for 3 adults so one of us had to sleep on sofa bed in living room. Big bath room and pretty handy kitchen. The only thing annoy me is loud chatting from restuarent just beside the building until 11pm.

My family of 4 (2 adults + 2 kids) stayed here in 4/2017. This is an apartment style hotel with very modern/trendy decor. Our unit was on the bottom floor in the back so had less light. PROS: 1) LOCATION: very central and just off one of the major East-West streets downtown 2) SPACIOUS: for Reykjavik, units are relatively spacious....

San Francisco, California

Good morning!

we have been trying to get a hold of staff for a couple weeks now without response so hoping this will be answered and help clear up our questions.

we are arriving at 4am at the airport on 3/26/17 staying through 4/1. can we please check in early please? I'm traveling with my 10 year so will be very exhausted.

Also, I'd like to add my friend's name onto the room as Expedia didn't but we paid for a deluxe studio so my son and I could sleep together and Brian can sleep on the fold out sofa.

the other question is I've been online at other sites and the cost of the deluxe studio and deluxe 1 bedroom apartment with fold out sofa are about the same, could we upgrade for more privacy If there's more room since it's my friend not husband? if not, no problem just thought it wouldn't hurt to ask :)

Thank you so much, we are so very excited about our trip, I've never done anything like this before! Our Flubus will be taking us straight there so would be really amazing if we could check in early.

thank you so much fit your time and in advance for your response!. FYI, everytime I've called I just get a recording and don't know how much is going to be charged to me coming from San Francisco, California...oh well.

your apartments look beautiful on line so we are hoping to have the full experience as I've been very sick for several years and this is a bit of a celebration of finally feeling better and bonding with my son.

if you cannot upgrade but could check us in at any time earlier could you hold our luggage while we go eat then hopefully check us in?

Thank you again and we do look forward to meeting you all!
