My standard room was the size of a broom closet, and the staff, in spite of my long history as a corporate client, felt no obligation to upgrade my room size. The room was always hot, in spite of turning the heater off, so the only way to regulate temperature was to open the window, which was extremely noisy in...

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

We were booked into the Hilton hotel as part of our holiday package. The first and only downside is the hotel is not located in the centre of Reykjavik. The walk into the centre of town is roughly 15-20 minutes depending on your walking speed. We did check and to get a taxi from the hotel to the centre of...

This is definitely my best restaurant experience at a Hilton. I'm really glad I opted for the package that included dinner, as I enjoyed a tasty and creative "chef's choice" dinner in a very comfortable and stylish restaurant. The front desk staff was very welcoming at check in and very helpful in showing me the ideal route for a walk...

We only stayed one night here (New Years Eve!) and it was pretty good. Room was clean and spacious, service was friendly. A bit far away from the action in Reykjavik though. Probably a good hotel for business travellers. Nice views over the city!

We traveled to Iceland with 4 other families. This was one of the only hotels that could accommodate such a large group even with months of planning in advance. From here we stared our daily expeditions to explore the sights from Iceland within driving distance or Reykjavik. Two families in our group had 4 members and although that's how many...

Great welcome and service by the staff. Overall a well presented and maintained hotel and whilst the stay was expensive we got some added extras thrown in that made it much better value in comparison with other local hotels.

Wonderful staff with helpful service. Clean rooms that had nice views of the city and water. Also had a fresh and delicious breakfast. Only down side at all was the distance to downtown but that helped work off the big breakfast..

The rooms are spotlessly clean and the club lounge, although basic, has great views. The staff in the lounge and at the Front Desk are incredibly helpful and friendly. I found the restaurant overpriced, even by Icelandic standards, and decided not to eat there.

This hotel has all the amenities you could need for a stay in Reykjavik. The hotel is located within a 10 minute drive from the centre, and has plenty of grocery stores/ food places within a mile radius. I would highly recommend that you upgrade to the Executive Room where you can benefit from access to the Executive Suite on...

Stayed 5 nights on the executive floor and had a great experience. The hotel is lovely and the rooms are very nice. The executive lounge perks are well worth it for the afternoon snacks and drinks. The Vox restaurant served an excellent breakfast and the dinner choices were well suited for all ages. The staff couldn't be nicer and more...
