Great location in the centre of Reykjavik and fabulous views to the water particularly from the kitchen area. Clean and cosy bedroom and the shower rooms were kept clean during our stay. Kitchen was clean and had lots of items in the shared/free area such as oils, spices, spreads so you don't need to buy everything to make a decent...

Decent facilities, excellent baths, functional wifi and helpful staff. Stayed for 3 nights quite peacefully and was only disturbed during Friday night due to loud and drunk other guests, but that's to expect.

I chose to stay here based on the location - it really is in the heart of Reykjavik, so it makes walking to everything so easy! The place was clean and had great views of the city from the kitchen/common area. Wifi was fast, coffee was good (on Booking.com it's listed as Thor Guesthouse) ... overall a great place to...

Great location, right at the heart of everything. They had nice, quiet rooms, and ample bathrooms. Good common area with a washer and dryer, a stove, fridge, etc. The rooms had a nice view of the city.

I loved staying at the Rental Guesthouse (Thor Guesthouse)! My husband and I stayed here over New Years. The room was clean, large, cozy and had a great view. The location was absolutely fantastic! I would definitely stay here again, if I ever came back to Iceland.

When I booked my room with single twin sized bed it was three days before I had arrived and I wasn't expecting company, funny how life doesn't seem to work out that way. On my way there from Skaftafell I ended up picking up a fellow traveler (aka hitchhiker) that needed some help. Long story short when I arrived to...

The Thor Guesthouse was the first stop on our tour of Iceland. We only stayed for one night, and found the location to be great. Very walkable to many different locations in the heart of Reykjavik, and there's a parking garage about a block away. Our room was comfortable and clean. The bathrooms were nice, and everything felt very private....

First of all, everything is expensive in Iceland. For me this was a slightly cheaper option than a private room in a hostel...which is saying something. It's a good location downtown, close to the "church". Room was clean, spacious, overall nice-pillows were very flat. Bathrooms were great-hot water was, well I doubt any accommodation has a hot water problem in...

We stayed at the guesthouse for 5 days and it was absolutely lovely. The facilities were very nice as well. Clean bathrooms and well-equipped kitchen (pans and pots and oil and sauces and herbs...)! It is just like a home! The owners provided information about the supermarkets and sights nearby and they certainly gave good advice on the lobster soup!...
