The hostel is very nicely done and decorated with a lot of old stuff, typewriter, radio, etc and so is the room I have stayed in. It is quite small (a real single room) but practical, toilet is on the floor. The bathroom is very spacious and clean and there are a lot of seats in the ground floor where...

Wife and I stayed here for a night in the beginning of September. As we explore Tröllaskagi Peninsula, we stayed at this location for a night. There were plenty of parking on the street right in front of the place. The town was beautiful and this is more of a hotel than a guesthouse to us. They even have a...

Great location, hospitable host, and quirky cool decor featuring original artwork. Also enjoyed having a bar and restaurant on the premises and many common areas to hang out in. Dinner in the restaurant (which has a Moroccan chef) was also delicious.

Siglunes is more of a boutique hotel than a guesthouse. We hade a very nice room, spacious and tastefully decorated, with fantastic bathroom. We did in fact book a double room and were offered a twin, but we were upgraded to a better standard to make up for that and offered a free drink at the hotel bar, which was...

Great little guesthouse centrally located in beautiful Siglufjordur. Rooms are immaculately clean, artfully designed, and full of mid-century character. Great bar and sitting area downstairs and a good-value breakfast in the morning. One of the highlights of our trip in Iceland - highly recommend! One caveat: the ensuite bathrooms don't provide much privacy, so I hope you're close with your...

Yep. Clean, comfy, bar area that's hipsterish, central location in a small, remote town, good breakfast selection. But -- what's this about sharing a bathroom? Turns out no problem. There are separate shower stalls in a communal shower, and one individual shower. The toilets are in separate rooms off the hallways. I never saw anyone else either in the shower...

If you're considering heading up this far north on your Iceland adventure - do so, and stay here! The township is adorable (in summer - probably equally as beautiful in winter). There are plenty of restaurants and cafes, as well as what Siglunes has to offer. The drive alone is spectacular. Siglunes is decorated in old-school decor so that you...

and an adorable, helpful and friendly assistant manager. The guesthouse is a gem in this scenic fjord town with lovely and homely amenities such as a library and its own bar. The breakfast was a standard Iceland buffet yet enjoyable. Our room on the third floor was quite narrow with not much space in which to unpack items and was...

I stayed in this guesthouse for a week (I was in town for work), and I really enjoyed it. Rooms and all are very decent, the food is greaaat, and the staff are so very nice and friendly! So this is a really nice place in a very nice, special little town up north, beautifully surrounded by the mountains
