We stayed for 2 nights, booked via Hey Iceland. The accommodation was fine; comfortable bed, parking, ensuite, tea and coffee facilities, nice hot radiators! Breakfast choices were limited and staff were pleasant but not particularly welcoming, we felt a little awkward at times. But it was a nice place to stay and the location is good for Vik, Glacier, Skogafoss...

We stayed here last week for two nights. The guesthouse seems to be in the middle of no where with good views of the sea and mountains .Perfect location just 12 km from Vik and the black beach .Skogafoss is also not far away.Joukarsarlon is two hours drive away. The best part was that we were able to see the very elusive...

The rooms are nice, very comfortable and modern. The beds are comfy and our room has its own toilet with shower. It's a 3 person room. Water boiler and tee is also included in the room. The place is located in a very quite area with a nice view.

We rented a family cabin for two nights in early April. The wind was brutal and it snowed, but the cabin stayed warm enough. Bedrooms were small and the kitchen and bathroom pretty simple. But everything was very clean. The breakfast was very good and included freshly made waffles and fruit, as well as the other typical Icelandic breakfast items.

Enjoyed our one night stay here! We had a family house which was so wonderful for us as we were traveling as a group of 5. Great dinner there and a great night's sleep. We left too early to experience breakfast, but I'm sure it's great as well!

Overall Guesthouse was clean, had a nice atmosphere & the staff was very kind & helpful. Breakfast was included in a very nice dining room with bread,...

stayed in a double room with shared facilities. Guesthouse is located off route 1 in the country side, I enjoyed the more isolated location, horses and sheep outside. Beds were comfortable, nice hot shower and good breakfast in the morning. My one complaint is with the shower. Anytime someone takes a shower, the entire bathroom essentially floods over and needed...

We visited in October and booked a room with private bathroom. We arrived after dark, the guesthouse was about 10 min drive from highway 1. It's very isolated from everything else, pretty much in the middle of nowhere, which could be a nice experience waking up to nice views. The lady at the reception kindly agreed to prepare dinner for...

Our host was very helpful and kind. She had rice cakes to accommodate my gluten free dietary restrictions which was a welcome surprise since there were several homemade jams at breakfast I was dying to try. The rooms are comfortable with excellent showers and even more amazing views of the ocean, pastures, glacier and mountains. The horses will come right...

I have a hard time paying close to $200 when you're getting what is essentially a dorm room that shares a bathroom. The room was clean, but austere with a view of the parking lot. Shared bathroom had shower with plenty of hot water but every time someone showers, the entire bathroom floor gets wet. Breakfast about average for what...
