The cod fish dinner was the only memorable thing about our stay in this outdated hotel in this part of Iceland. The bathroom is small and had odors I remember from stays In hotels many, many years ago. Bottom line is to enjoy this part of Iceland, you just have to put up with a dump to enjoy this natural...

This was a really old and outdated hotel, the hallway and elevator smelled of stale smoke. When we walked into our room the first thing we noticed was the overpowering smell of urine. The room stank so bad we had to leave the window wide open and crank the heat up. Because we arrived pretty late and we were both...

Spent 1 night. We had a family room which sleeps 2 adults and 2 kids on a pull-out sofa. The bathroom was nice, modern and renovated, the room was comfortable, light and airy, with new linens. We had a nice view of church and harbor from our room. The location is a bit out of town up on a hill...

While not particularly memorable, this was clearly a functional and comfortable hotel. Bathroom was small but adequate. A pull out screen partially partitioned the shower. Breakfast buffet was adequate but lacked hot options.

Do not expect a nice atmosphere but just stay here because the rooms are spacious, the location is nice and the Snaefellsness area is very beautiful. The hotel is run by many not-Icelandic people who are not very customer friendly by heart and some of them (in housekeeping) hardly speak any English. So don't expect it to be a warm...

I'm not sure of the other hotel options in this village but given the opportunity, we wouldn't stay there again. The location was good but the room was small, the bed was so hard it felt like sleeping on the floor, and the one pillow was so flat, even folding it in half didn't help. The bathroom shower only had...

This hotel was only okay - I'd go so far as to say a disappointment. The wifi is absolute garbage which meant I was basically isolated from my loved ones back in the states for two days, the thermostat was very difficult to use and we ended up sleeping on the first floor. The shower is basically unusable as the...

Superb service from the staff ~ from the reception to the restaurant ~ with comfortable albeit small but clean rooms; we had an enjoyable two nights stay at this port city hotel. Food was excellent and of high quality though the soup tended to be on the salty side. Breakfast only offered cold options but spread was good with fresh...

Due to bit of confusion we couldn't get to our hotel so we got transferred to Stykkisholmur. The reception we very accommodating and couldn't of done enough for us to make our stay pleasant (we ended up sleeping in our rental car 1st night). The Hotel itself is fair, clean and great location to stay for a couple of days...
