What a wonderful welcome I received upon arrival from Sylvia and her family, such a lovely family, and super farmhouse accommodation. Nothing was too much trouble for Sylvia, and my salad with home cooked ham went down a treat. Sadly I was only able to stay one night, but before my departure, (after a yummy breakfast of locally sourced or...

We enjoyed a weekend away with Sylvia and family on their farm a couple of weekends ago and had a thoroughly good time. Set on the edge of Dartmoor the scenery close and distant is amazing. Sylvia is the consummate perfect hostess and the whole family turned out to greet us. Breakfasts and dinners were full and wholesome made with...

My wife and I stayed here last December after attending a close friend's funeral. Only the previous day we had been to our brother-in-law's funeral near Guildford. It will be appreciated that we were quite tired by the time we arrived on a dark December night. We were made very welcome by Sylvia Crocker who provided us with a tray...

We stayed with at East Raddon B&B over the Christmas period- Sylvia and her family made our stay wonderful. It really was the highlight of our Christmas holiday-from small things like having toys ready for our children to play with, to lovely ginger cookies to take away with us for the trip home.. not to mention first hand experience on...

I've been meaning to review this B&B for months. My fiancé and I stayed with Sylvia and her family for 2 nights at East Raddon just after the bank holiday at the end of May 2013. We were visiting for our friends' wedding at nearby Lewtrenchard Manor. Upon arrival, we were greeted with yummy homemade cakes, scones & tea. After,...

“There's no mobile reception there, so watch out (though I was offered use of the house phone if I needed it). The track to the farm is about 3/4 mile, so if like me you were at a function at the nearby Lewtrenchard Manor, prepare for a bit of a moon-lit walk!”
