Just returned from highly anticipated holiday. Sadly disappointed. The hotel is in parts jaded, our room on 7th floor was small and shabby not the superior room we booked. On arrival we were told we had been upgraded to a suite, great, until we found...More
I'm surprised to see so many negative comments here. Overall I was more than happy with the hotel fortina for the price we paid. We had a garden facing room on seventh floor so could still see the sea. The views on the other side...More

Having stayed at this hotel four times over the past seven years we were thrilled to be going again for an Easter break. Yes the position is superb but we will not book there again. The food was very poor in the restaurant. We have never ever felt the need to book in one of the specialised " dine around" , because we had been so satisfied with the main restaurant. We did treat ourselves to an evening meal in the Terrace restaurant where hotel residents get a 15% discount. The service was chaotic and the food only average and highly priced. I can no longer recommend this hotel to anybody.

"Wouldn't recommend anyone stay here but the Garden View rooms seem a little better than the Sea view..."
