Stayed here for a week in June - Was given an upgrade upon arrival at the Hotel and was pleasantly surprised. Very large room with two double beds, a sofa; chair and coffee table. All the mod cons, tea and coffee making facilities etc.
We have not visited Malta before and were pleasantly surprised ar the friendliness of the local people, the hotel was good, although the carpet in the corridor near our room (203) was threadbare in places and also torn. The choice of food in the restaurant...More
Very good value for money and facilities - good breakfasts and helpful staff.

I stayed in a garden view room and it was quiet and a good size. The housekeeping staff were really lovely and...More
Spent one week here - Sliema is the perfect location between the capital Valetta and the nightlife centre St. Julian's. I booked a double room which was very spacious, with comfortable double bed and it also had a nice little balcony with a stunning view...More
Lovely sea view from our balcony of Marsamxetto Harbour and Manoel Island. The staff were all courteous. My birthday dinner which was held at SA RE GA MA Restaurant in the gardens of the Hotel itself was simply exquisite.

Having stayed at this hotel four times over the past seven years we were thrilled to be going again for an Easter break. Yes the position is superb but we will not book there again. The food was very poor in the restaurant. We have never ever felt the need to book in one of the specialised " dine around" , because we had been so satisfied with the main restaurant. We did treat ourselves to an evening meal in the Terrace restaurant where hotel residents get a 15% discount. The service was chaotic and the food only average and highly priced. I can no longer recommend this hotel to anybody.

"go for a garden room rather than a sea view - they are above the road and more noisy"
