The Acacia is a small hotel in a side street in downtown Esch sur Alzette. They still have smoking rooms, which surprised me when I got one - I didn't think these would still exist and forgot to ask for a non-smoking room when booking. It was sold out, so I had to have windows wide open all the time....

Simply put, the people were very nice, and the dining room certainly looked great. I only ate breakfast there, which was the normally adequate European style offering. No complaints. The room itself was small, but clean and likewise, for one night, also nothing bad to say.

No-one on reception when we arrived but someone arrived quite quickly and explained the parking to us. It's in a car park across the road which was fine, just a bit difficult when you first arrive as there was nowhere outside to stop. Surprised to find an extremely spacious room, much better than anticipated. Big drawback was the lack of...

I stayed here for a 2 day work in Esch. Rooms are very spacious, and it has got a traditional look and feel. Breakfast offered was very good. Service was excellent. You have a delhaize supermarket nearby and lot of shopping nearby.

Ideally located, two steps from the city center, it has a good restaurant in the premises, the breakfast offered is OK and the rooms are comfortable and clean. Although there is no garage on site, there is a public parking in front of the hotel.

Only stayed one night but was happy enough with the room. Bedroom was tidy and clean and the bed reasonably comfortable. Bathroom was clean and shower was efficient. My only gripes were that my room was on the 4th floor which meant walking up steep windy stairs and that the room was very hot at night (to be fair, it...

Stayed in the Hotel on Business just for a single night. While the location is central and the hotel itself is very clean and a freindly welcome is given on arrival it does lack a few items notably; - The room had no shower, only a shower head that you had to hold up yourself - There was no bar,...

I stayed at this hotel with my friend and our entire stay was quite delectable. This hotel is pleasingly located right in the center of Esch which makes it very convenient and lovable place to stay for all types of visitors. The old traditional decor of this hotel was soothing and interesting. Rooms are exceptionally large and spacious and very...

This place was awesome, very friendly people and yummy food. Our room was huge! We got a two bedroom suite for around 150 euros a night. The hotel is located right in the centre of Esch, near all the shops and restaurants.
