We stayed here for 2 nights as we had an early flight from back to the UK. We emailed ahead and Stav kindly got our room ready at 2pm as we were travelling from Limassol.

The hotel apartments are off the main road in a quiet street where you would feel safe walking late at night. When we did go out walking late eve, many houses had their front doors and windows open even when there were no lights on! There is a small local supermarket 5 mins away if you want to stock up your fridge etc. There’s plenty of parking at the hotel and it’s well lit.

We were booked into Room 108 which is on the ground floor with doors opening up onto a decent sized balcony with tables and chairs facing a lovely pool with spotless surrounding areas. When we got there, there were plenty of free beds.

The room itself was a good size with super comfy beds, TV , great air con and a small kitchenette with fridge/freezer double electric hob, toaster and kettle, utensils, glasses etc. Again, everything clean. The Wi-Fi was intermittent

Unfortunately, there were some issues with our room. If we were staying longer, we would have asked to be moved, but as we were there literally for 36 hours, it wasn’t worth it. The room as lovely as it is, has problems with what could possibly be damp which was evident from the smell coming from the wardrobe, this could be secondary from the cracked/broken bath and bathroom directly behind the wardrobe. Our TV didn’t work (someone before us must have dropped it so the LED was gone), this was quickly sorted and replaced. Plenty of British channels to watch if you want to. Hairdryer didn’t work, porch door didn’t lock properly, light above mirror wasn’t working either. Lighting in kitchen is very dark. All small, yet things that would have definitely warranted a change in room.

We cannot fault the staff, from reception to bar. We didn’t have the chance to get to know them properly, but the time we were there, they seemed lovely and nothing was too much trouble.

Also to note, we had a lot of trouble trying to book directly but the website was quite difficult to navigate also saying they had no availability and Im quite techie, we ended up booking with a third party, we would have rather gone with Anna direct. This isnt a fault, but the light/electricity key is on the fob for the bedroom door has to be taken out for you to open the front door, this then switches off the light, so you’re fumbling around trying to find the torch on your phone. You can’t remove either key from the fob as they are locked within the fob.

Finally, if we were to come back to paphos, we would definitely stay here again. Would prefer a first floor facing the pool as you will witness some killer sunsets.

We stayed at the Anna Hotel Apartments for 11 nights mid July - family of 4. We booked via booking.com and the communication from Bridget at the hotel was fantastic. Any questions we had, she was able to answer and quickly too. We arrived late at night and asked for some sandwiches and bottles of beer to be put into our room for our arrival with it being off the beaten track and not being sure if the bar would still be open. Bridget sorted this all out for us which was great.
The hotel is spotlessly clean, especially the pool area. The pool is large and there were plenty of sun loungers so absolutely no sunbed wars required. They weren't the most comfortable loungers and would benefit from a cushion but they were adequate.
There were tables and seating around the side of the pool just outside the bar where in the daytime you could get drinks, ice-creams and between certain times, breakfast and lunch which was all cooked fresh.
The family that own the hotel are all very hands on and take the time to speak to the guests.
There weren't many English families there when we stayed but this didn't make any difference to our stay. We mostly used the pool early in the morning or late in the afternoon due to the heatwave that was being experienced in Paphos during our stay - we spent alot of time driving around with the air con on!
The cleaners came every other day and changed towels that we had left in the bath. We asked for extra pillows after our first night as there was only one per bed and that was sorted nice and quickly. The beds were really comfortable, shame we couldn't take them home!
You can get pool towels from reception which is a great idea so that you don't have to pack any.
We had a late flight back to the UK and were able to stay in our room until we needed to leave which was a really big help. Not sure what we would have done for the day if we had needed to be out by 10 am when our flight was at 10pm.
The bar doesn't stay open after 10.30pm but we went out in the evenings and then took our own drinks and sat around the tables outside the bar next to the pool as the balcony was a little small for 4 people. We just made sure we cleared all our rubbish away and the hotel didn't have any problem with that.
Down the road from the hotel is a good bar called Julies Bar - according to my husband and son, they do a good pint of Carling.
As it is off the beaten track, although you can walk down the road to the bus stop, it would be beneficial to hire a car for some if not all of your stay. We hired our car through Zest which are a broker and then used Kyprexo. They dropped the car off at the hotel the day after we arrived and then we dropped it off at the airport on our departure.
We would have no hesitation in returning to Anna Hotel and Apartments and thank the family for their hospitality.

It was our first time in Cyprus, and among many solutions we decided for Anna Hotel Apartments.
We wanted absolutely to avoid the crowded solutions down to the beach, preferring a place where we could easily reach by walk the sea (remain in the calm and the quiet during the resting time in the hotel).
We were a group of 8 persons and we loved it.
Calm, bright, clean, comfortable apartments (with fridge, and usable kitchen) made our stay a pleasant experience.
Beds are standard sizes and really very comfortable, linen and bedsheets changed regularly as well for the bathroom towels.
The swimming pool is well maintained and clean, and bigger than the average size for this category hotels.
We loved to have a swim enjoying the lovely weather of Cyprus of this period of the year.
We were a group of Pilates performers and every morning and every evening we had our daily sessions on the grass or in the pool area.
The owners were lovely and always available to help You out with whatever You could need and always so friendly in suggesting us what to do, what to see, and what to experience in the area. We tried the breakfast “a la carte” with a standard menu but really delicious, even if having our own kitchen, sometimes we preferred to enjoy our own cooked breakfast comfortably on our terraces.
Definitely a positive experience.
I think the best ratio quality/price in the area.
We had a great stay… DEFINITELY A THUMB UP !

Bridget, Stefanos & Costas are extremely customer focused and work tirelessly to ensure that everybody is happy and comfortable. The facilities are great, the pool is very well maintained, the poolside bar offers cooked breakfast and lunches that are freshly prepared, beautifully cooked and great value.
The Covid-19 precautions were thorough and adhered to by the staff (this was the case throughout Cyprus).
All-in-all a great, relaxing experience. Recommended.

Just been back to the Anna for our usual three week holiday, been visiting for 22 years so the hotel cannot be that bad.
Even in this year of strange times nothing is to much trouble for the family.
Bridget, Stefanos, Andreas and Costas make your holiday the most joyous experience.
We stayed in our usual spacious studio apartment which has a well equipped kitchen, large king size bed and spacious bathroom.
The pool area and gardens are well looked after, the whole outside area is maintained to the highest standard.
Bridget's kitchen and food are superb her meals are excellent and tasty.
In these strange times the measures to control the Coronavirus are first class with hand sanitizing stations at regular intervals, towels and bedding is changed every two days and the sheets and towels are spray sanitized as they are placed out.
Although not full, the apartments did have a fair number of regular returning guests and other people who said that they would be returning in the years to come.
See you all next year.

We booked here last minute as the villa we had booked was unacceptable. It’s true that the hotel is off the beaten track. However it more than makes up for that with everything else. The room was spotlessly clean. The pool and garden area are kept immaculate and the breakfast was good quality and freshly cooked. However what really makes this place is the superb service. It’s like going back in time when people took pride in providing a service. All the family were friendly and took time with guests. We can’t recommend this place highly enough and we will definitely be back.

Very cozy, clean, quiet small hotel apartment complex with an excellent and friendly service by the 3 brothers owning the establishment. The breakfast and the service are highly recommended. Very good location on the hills of Kissonerga. If you don’t want to stay at a very big hotel with cold service and atmosphere this is the place to be. Big rooms, a/c, nice equipment to cook your own food, room 207 is ideal for a family.

Spent a fabulous week at the Anna Hotel Apartments. Beautifully clean, blissfully quiet and no fighting for a sunbed! Lovely breakfast and lunch available and good to have a bar on site. Bridget is amazing with lots of helpful information and nothing too much trouble. Room and whole complex spotless and whilst it may not suit everyone, this is the perfect place for peace and a complete rest! Will definitely return.

Hi, so sorry only just seen your question. The best closed beach is Corallia Bay, just past Coral Bay. You would need a car, although there is a bus that goes there regularly.

The pool is beautiful but unheated. We visited at the end of April and it was very hot and we certainly swam in the pool and there were some small children there using it.

there is a bus running every 30 mins on low road and also a bus that runs through kissenerga village which takes you into the old town, its about a 10 minutewlk down to main road but quite steep for return stroll back up, taxi fair probably 20 euros

How is best to get from the airport to the hotel? How much is a taxi? Or would it be cheaper to rent a car?
Answer from Stefbri
Kissonerga, Cyprus
Private Taxi transfer from Paphos airport to Anna Hotel Apartments - If you do not wish to hire a car, then this is the quickest, stress-free and least tiring method of transport. If booked through ourselves it will be 30 Euro for up to 4 persons sharing. At the moment, it depends on the rate of car hire/ make of car /cc/season etc. as to whether car rental from the airport is cheaper / more expensive than a taxi transfer. If you require any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact me.
