We stayed here for a week in September, and enjoyed it very much. We had a suite overlooking the mountains in the distance (and the bins a little closer by); I am sure that a sea view would be lovely, but we were perfectly happy with our view from the balcony.

The suite was spacious and there was lots of storage space, which can be a real problem at many hotels, so we could keep everything looking tidy. We only used the kitchen area for making drinks, but it didn’t look like there was much equipment for cooking. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was fine if not especially high-end. Air conditioning was very effective.

The pool area was very lovely indeed…one of the stars of the hotel, and there was a decent range of drinks and bar snacks available by the pool.

Breakfast was reasonable but sometimes became depleted, and there was little if any variety from day to day; presentation of the breakfast options could perhaps be more attractive.

The hotel is set back from a busy main road. There’s no issue with noise - it’s a very peaceful place to stay, which was one of the pluses. There is a good, reasonably priced bus service that runs every 10-15 minutes between Pathos and Coral Bay that we used a lot.

There are several restaurants within 5-15 minutes walking distance, but this usually means walking along the main road, which as mentioned is pretty busy. Of course I am sure that a taxi could be ordered to avoid the walk. The bar snack menu is available at the hotel in the evening, but nothing more elaborate.

Staff overall are friendly, helpful and very good indeed, and we were definitely made to feel welcome. There are many hotel options in the area, but I think that we made a very good choice.

This Hotel has the most relaxed chilled out atmosphere that I have ever been to and where nobody whilst we were staying there got up at the crack of dawn to reserve sunbeds and then leave them unattended for hours. It's very clean, the views from our room were fantastic, with some amazing sunsets!! We were in room 202 and had an amazing view all the way round, the bed is massive and very comfortable, the cleaning ladies do start a little early but we just put the do not disturb sign on the door and then when we was ready to leave took it off and they cleaned the room everyday. The staff are all very friendly and Anna and George couldn't do enough for you, it's a shame George is leaving on the 1st October. The food round the Pool and in the Restaurant is very good, although the menu for the pool and Restaurant is exactly the same, we thought there should have been more variety on the Restaurant menu, but we ate in the Hotel Restaurant 3 times and the food is very nice. Taxis are quite expensive 20 Euro into paphos or 1.50 on the Bus, it does take about half an hour to get into Paphos on the Bus and 10 minutes to the strip at Coral Bay, you can go anywhere on the Bus for 1.50 but the price does increase to 2.50 after 9pm, it's 12 Euros in a Taxi to the Strip at Coral Bay, which is where we went most nights with a good selection of Bars and Restaurants. I would definitely recommend this Hotel if you want a chilled out relaxing holiday and we would return.

A little piece of heaven on earth. Situated between Paphos and Coral Bay, setby the ocean, close enough to hear the water hitting the beach ... the room (303) was lovely, we had a 1 bedroom apartment, very comfy bed and pillows, kept very clean and cleaners in every day changing sheets if required and towels daily. Kitchen equipped with microwave/kettle/plates and glasses and mugs etc. Utensils provided were great, just needed a clean.... we had a balcony overlooking the sea and over to Coral Bay, so beautiful. Only thing ... it didn't get any sunshine until late in the afternoon but it was great for sitting out in the shade. Pool area was great, plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas... my only gripe would be that the umbrellas are static and you can't move them .. so if you needed a bit of shade, you had to move to another sunbed. Pool area kept really clean, pool itself was just the right temperature. We didn't use the restaurant this time, we bought our own food and ate out in the evening either walking to Coral Bay (and bussing it back) or getting the bus into Paphos. Both places have loads of great eating places. (Bus costs 2 euros one way or 6.50 for a day ticket and are very frequent). The staff were friendly enough although we didn't have many dealings with them. We love this hotel, peace and quiet, for adults only.

This was our first trip to Cyprus and it definitely won’t be our last. We loved staying at the Vrachia Beach Hotel. We were so impressed which started with our first meeting with Rebecca on reception, who was so bubbly and helpful who efficiently checked us in and took us to our room. The room was on the first floor, with a wonderful sea view. The room was a good size and well equipped. The bathroom was clean and modern. The room was cleaned every day and towels and bedding changed frequently.
Breakfast was lovely, with a mixture of British and continental foods available each day. Kirsty was always on hand, to offer information about the area, restaurants to visit and how to get around, which was really helpful and then she was at the pool bar, at 3pm ready to make the fantastic cocktails in happy hour.
The pool area was always clean and sun beds were always available, a bonus being you don’t have to take beach towels as these are provided by the hotel.
We had such a lovely time we can’t wait to return next year.

My husband and I have just returned from a 2 week break at The Vrachia beach hotel & suites.
It was simply perfect. We have not stayed in a hotel for over 15 years (always get a villa with the family) but thought it was time for some "us time". We could not have chosen anywhere more perfect if we had tried.
It was late evening when we, arrived, check in was easy and we were greeted by our names which was a lovely touch, he took us to our room and carried my case up the flight of stars for me. We quickly deposited our cases in our room and went to the bar for a drink (this closes at 11.00 pm) very nice cocktails and very well done. The staff here are all very friendly and helpful.
We went in a superior sea view 1 bedroom apartment (which has everything you need) with breakfst and the views are fantastic especially at sunsets. These are cleaned with towels replaced daily. Most mornings we'd go for breakfast at 8.30 and when we returned the room had already been cleaned and the bed made up. Wonderful ladies who always had a smile and hello for you.
Breakfast is a buffet style but with a fantastic selection catering for various nationalities.
The pool is perfect, a very chilled music is played but very low volume so you can mainly just hear the sound of the waves. No panic for sunbeds as there is always availability. Happy hour at the pool bar between 3-4 all cocktails are amazing. They serve lunches also at shaded tables next to the pool and these are also very tasty and well priced.
We ate in the hotel restaurant on a number of evenings and again, the food is delicious, the house white is recommended too.
Just up the road from the hotel (5 mins) is a supermarket (crazy spoon) great for necessities and just down from the hotel is a 24 hour supermarket, so if you arrive late and need anything it's perfect. (probably about 10 minutes walk).
There is a restaurant nearby called Sonny's (recommended booking) food is devine and very reasonable.
On our last day the hotel stored our luggage for us so we could go out or do whatever without worrying. The only downside is the "complimentary" room you can use to shower if you have a, late check out.(unable to stay in room later as it had been booked) This is more like a storage room full of furniture with no aircon which is stifling. However saying that it is free of charge and it certainly will not stop us from returning.
If you want a peaceful chill out holiday with no screaming children, but only the sound of the waves this is the place for you. The closest place to heaven we've been and cannot wait to return.
Thank you Vrachia ❤️

You will find Vrachia Hotel and Resort 8km north of Pafos. Located on the edge of cliffs looking out over the sea. The hotel is adults only and has 36 rooms/apartment. We had what would br called a suit. A balkony facing West looking out over the ocean. King sizes bed in a large bedroom, livingroom with TV, diningroom and a fully stocked kitchen for 4. Bathroom with tube and shower head. WiFi that “WORK” and cleaning everyday. Morning buffet was good with standard menu and a few variants.

A tip for travelers. Call and get a cab through Vrachia for 45 Euro from Pafos airport, or else pay 65 Euro from airport. There is a five minute walk to the main road to catch public transport. Best to buy a day pass for 6,50 Euro to save money or else it cost, round trip to Pafos, 8 Euro..choose the time of year carefully. We went in august and the heat was unberible, 35/45 degrees. Over all we will give Vrachia a 5. There are 4/5 exellent restaurants within a 5/20 minute walk. The food at Vrachia is good, but the dining menu is very short.

We stayed three days at this property, not luxurious but definitely decent. We chose a beachfront studio on the second floor, and we certainly did not regret having made this choice because from the terrace you can enjoy a view and a background of lapping the sea that are priceless! The studio apartment has been recently restored and furnished, equipped with many amenities. Breakfast not at the top for variety and quality, but we particularly enjoyed the offer of fresh fruit restocked continuously. The breakfast tables are both indoors and outdoors on the panoramic terrace overlooking the small gulf where it overlooks the hotel, and so the day begins in a delicious way. There is also a pleasant swimming pool and if you want you can swim on the rocks overlooking (be careful though, because they are slippery, definitely not suitable for people with little mobility). Overall a 'great choice if you are looking for atmosphere and tranquility (the hotel does not allow the stay of children and young people). Strongly recommended a own means of transport, because Paphos is 10 minutes away by car. Large private parking available.

we’ve been here a week and from the minute we arrived we were treated like royalty, we didn’t see much of the reception staff after arrival as we were off doing our own thing, we met Nimy at the night bar who is a great character very friendly with everyone and advised where to go for good food in coral bay, the pool bar we were served by ana and Stoimen who again couldn’t do enough for us they were so accommodating for everything! the hotel itself is in a BEAUTIFUL location and you’re only a bus away from all the attractions! be weary of taxi drivers as they will charge you what ever they feel like charging on the day but a day pass on the bus is €5 and a single trip is €1.50 each way, bus stop is about a 2 minute walk next to sunset bay so you’re close enough to go and have some fun but out the way enough to get some peace and quiet, i would highly recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of coming to stay. i forgot to mention how lovely the cleaners are too they will clean your room when ever you’re ready and their standards are spectacular our room was always fresh and clean and would smell unbelievable on arrival. Thankyou Vrachia for a fantastic holiday we hope to see you again :)

Spent a week here in September and can’t really fault it! Adults only and not a huge hotel so never an issue getting a longer round the pool at any time of the day. Stayed Self Catering so never tried the breakfast, however often had lunch around the pool and every time we were impressed - portion sizes really big so often just shared a sandwich/pita. Happy hour around the pool from 3pm when all cocktails are €7.
Room was huge and spacious. We didn’t pay for an upgrade so just had a standard room which was absolutely fine. Bed comfy, cleaners fantastic. Free use of safe, AC and courtesy room on your last day.
Hotel is right on a peninsula with spectacular views of the sea and the sunset.
Second time staying in the area having stayed at Queens Bay a stones throw away last year and can’t really choose a favourite - Querns Bay busier and more going on but Vircahi perfect for switching off and quiet.
Not many restaurants within walking distance, but you can get into Coral Bay in just a few mins on the bus in one direction and Paphos itself fifteen mins in the other direction. All buses are €1.50 regardless of journey, run every 15 mins or so. (Can get busy at peak times such as early evening).
One restaurant definitely worth walking to from the hotel is Sea You Beach bar which you can see along the beach from the peninsula (book a table and watch the sunset).
Love this quieter corner of Cyprus and we’ll certainly be returning.

Just returned from a week's stay at this hotel. We stayed in a Superior One-Bedroom Apartment with Sea View which was a good size, well equipped with a lovely large balcony with superb views. The pool area is small but with sufficient sun-beds for the number of guests and with a bar serving food and drinks all day.

We found the staff at the hotel to be absolutely brilliant and willing to help with any questions or problems - particularly when I was getting a bit panicked about our transport back to the airport not turning up!!

We can thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a quiet and relaxing adults only break in a lovely location.

Hi there. I believe dinner is not being served this year, however, pizza and snacks served 7-10pm. You are spoilt for choice for places to eat close by. Beautiful location in between Coral Bay and Paphos harbour. Many restaurants close by. Coffee shops and supermarkets and good bus links into the harbour/ coral bay. The hotel is right on the coastal path, I cannot comment on the suites as we stay in a 2 bed apt, however, all the rooms have a fabulous sea view unless mountain view is stated.

We stayed as a family of 3 in a one bed with a seaview. The room was very spacious with a large double bed adjacent to the patio doors and a twin seater sofa bed in an adjacent sitting area with a window. This area could be separated from the bedroom by a curtain and the sprung double sofa bed was very comfortable. Beyond this sitting area was the open plan kitchen and beyond that the entrance and very smart bathroom. We did not experience the 2 bed apartments.
Answer from STELIOS T
Yes that is possible as the hotel is situated above the sea.
