After a flight detour over to Larnica airport and a 2 hour coach transfer, we finally arrived at the Olympic Lagoon at 2am with 3 small children in tow, shattered but was greeted at the front doors by a concierge, who swiftly took all our cases and we were professionally checked into at reception and quickly shown our room on the 3rd floor. 5 packets of sandwiches were left in our room, knowing we had such a delay and were arriving at the hotel late. In the room we were greeted by balloons and a handwritten letter from management wishing us a happy anniversary, which was such a lovely gesture ! My 8 year old twins had bunk beds and my daughter a double pull out sofa in a separate room (sliding doors separated me and my hubby with the children) Children had a flat screen tv in there section which had English channels as well as cartoons in English as well as other languages. Mini bar was available and stocked daily with fresh bottled water. Impressed with the maid service that was twice a day and room was cleaned to a very high standard.
Staff at the hotel are literally what make this hotel AMAZING ! All staff were so friendly and would like to shout out to Maria in the restaurant, although all the staff were simply exceptional. The entertainment we saw was fantastic and all the girls and 2 male singers were professional and gave 100% every night ! Drinks from kids milkshakes to alcoholic beverages were very tasty and we even tried some cocktails that were delicious. The food in the main restaurant was EXCELLENT such a array of different dishes, you would have to be ultra fussy to turn your pallet up at this food, salad bar, deserts and cooked meats were mouth watering !
My 6 year old actually cried when we had to leave on New Year’s Day and we will Definitely be returning to this hotel again. One of the best family holidays we have ever had !
A few rainy days and we splashed around and had fun in the indoor pool but it was FREEZING !!!! This was my only gripe about the hotel, it needs to be a few degrees warmer for an indoor pool. The life guard was very professional and watched all the children.
The indoor and outdoor areas are kept immaculate and this hotel was situated just off the beach area, which was lovely to see the waves and sea.
10/10 for this hotel !!!! We had an amazing stay !!!!

This hotel is definitely impressive! The level of service, the location, the food, the entertainment, you really cannot fault it at all. The staff were very attentive and polite and could not do enough to ensure your holiday was exactly what you wanted. The fridge in the rooms has complimentary soft drinks and a bottle of sparkling wine in it. Tea/coffee is replenished daily. The rooms were lovely with everything you may need in them. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

We are currently on our last night staying at the olympic lagoon hotel in paphos. We have stayed for 2 weeks and are very sad to be leaving tomorrow.
The hotel is first class rooms are spotless and have everything you need for a comfortable stay, all covid safety measures are in place mask to be worn in reception areas and restaurants until seated also they provide disposable gloves for the buffet restaurant. The food for the whole of our stay has been so varied and well presented, there are numerous restaurants to visit within the stay we loved the main buffet restaurant and the american diner,we also ate at the pan asian which was really good.
Staff are the making of this hotel they are friendly helpful and professional, they can not do enough for you. I wish i could name them all as they all deserve recognition a credit to the hotel. Pool areas stunning being able to dip in the pool and have a swim in the sea is perfect, again spotlessly clean. The entertainers work so hard the evening shows are really good and they work so hard.
The main reason for our stay this time was to celebrate our silver wedding anniversary and also to check out the hotel as our daughter gets married in the hotel next August, after seeing some weddings while we have been here we are so excited and know it will be perfect.
In fact while we have been here we have booked to come again before the wedding in april, we are looking forward to it already. Thank you for making our holiday so memorable.

Just returned from a fantastic holiday /wedding party at this hotel , it was our son and daughter in law’s wedding. The wedding planners did an extremely good job of making the bride and grooms wedding a special day , the beach side venue for the ceremony was quite idyllic and a perfect setting for the photos . The reception was held in the blue Lagoon gardens once again perfectly prepared for our arrival
A big well done to Elana & xenious for waiting on us and also to chef Micheal who can cook the most perfect steak 👍
The hotel was extremely clean and well maintained the staff were great and nothing was too much trouble Anthuollo on guest relations helped us in every way sorting out ALL our requests
The pools are lovey with comfy sunbeds with plenty of umbrellas.
The all inclusive is the best I’ve ever been so much food to choose from and the signature restaurants were perfect , we traveled as a group of 15 adults and no one had any complaints about the food on offer , the bars were serving branded drinks and you can have as many as you want !!
Covid precautions were very well maintained which included temperature checks in entering the main building and restaurants, hand sanitizers everywhere and free masks available at all restaurants, masks must be warn in all inside areas unless you are eating or drinking
All the staff were great but I’d just like to thank these staff members who made our stay so memorable
Maria on reception, Anthullo in guest relations along with Georgia, then we had Xenious
Costas & Vanessa in the main restaurant, Elena,Daniel and Maria were worked the hardest by us - they were the waiters/waitress’s and of course not for getting Valentin the general manager who introduced himself within the first hour of our arrival, and came to check on us daily
Thanks for a great holiday and I wouldn’t hesitate recommending your hotel to anyone thanks for a great time
See you again soon .

Our first holiday in 2 years had to be a return to Cyprus and the Olympic Lagoon.. the first time we have ever been to the same hotel twice as we normally like to try new places but we so enjoyed it here and we’re desperate to just flop out in the sun! Whilst a little apprehensive about holidays post covid, we needn’t have been. The hotel takes cleanliness very seriously with temperature checks, hand sanitising stations and free masks dotted around the hotel. Our room was spotless and cleaned thoroughly each day by the hardworking maids and one felt very safe indeed.
Only real gripe this year was that the pool was freezing but it was the first week of November. The sea however was warmer and a welcome, refreshing place to swim in t cool down in the amazing sun ( it was 28C!)
We were initially going to book Adults only but read that the pool bars were only open until end October so we decided not to. However due to the wonderful weather all the pool bars were open so we could have enjoyed the Adults only if we had known which was frustrating and the receptionist said we couldn’t upgrade.
The Blue Lagoon pool bar was open and the ladies who worked there were brilliant and friendly, and one of them made me a Red Elderflower with passion fruit which was delicious.
The cocktails were divine. The signature cocktails are well worth a try with some interesting infusions and really unique flavours which were outstanding.
Food as always was excellent, great salad options and lovely puddings (the mousses are really flavoursome) breakfasts were amazing, so much choice! Nice to see a separate childrens area with lowere counters and their own food.. nice touch. Special mention to Clare who greeted us every day with smiles and friendly chat as she escorted us to our seats, a real credit to the hotel as are all the staff.
The outdoor bar area is a lovely place for sitting and enjoying a cocktail or coffee however the smoking section is way too small and often there weren’t seats so people had to stand outside and smoke which wasn’t ideal.
Entertainment was great and the young lady with red hair who served drinks in the Xperience Arena was always chatty and smiling and remembered everyone’s drinks, another great credit to the hotel.
Was really nice seeing familiar faces still working here after 2 years as it felt like home instantly. We are planning to come again next year and treat ourselves to Adults only as this really is our favourite place now. Great eating options, relaxing and of course the Cypriot welcome really makes you feel good. Don’t worry about coming post covid, everywhere is safe and follows the guidelines. We used taxis, buses, went to cafes and shops and felt really safe. Thank you to everyone who made our much needed holiday so enjoyable

Where do I begin. This was the most excellent hotel we have stayed at ,and my wife and myself have holidayed abroad at least 3 times a year for the last 10. The staff were all first class . Reception staff , waiters-waitresses,
you never had to wait to have your glass refilled from the excellent choice on the A.I. menu .the young ladies who
escorted you to your table at meal times were all friendly and loved to chat with you on the way. the bar staff, the room maids , the porters ,ground staff, even the security people all excellent .The hotel was well laid out no problem finding anything ,some hotels we have stayed at it has taken a day or two to find where everything is .the hotel facilities are excellent with everything you need at hand .Hotel is situated very well ,about a 20 minute walk along the coastal walkway at the rear of the hotel to Paphos harbour where the is an array of tavernas and shops or you could catch the 611 bus ouside the front if you don't feel up to it.This holiday was a lovelly experience and one of the things that needs to be mentioned is on the day of departure your A.I. package is valid until your airport transfer and not cut off at 12.00hrs like at all the other hotels we have stayed at .The choice of food at each meal time is second to none and we should know having holidayed as many times as we have. The all star entertainment team were very good as well.We recommend this hotell 100%.

Have just returned from a weeks holiday at the Olympic Resort in Paphos with my family. My son his wife and sons were in a junior suite and my daughter and I were in a deluxe room.
It was a wonderful holiday from the start. The rooms are airy and spacious and my daughter and I had a beautiful sea view.
In my sons room there were bunk beds for the boys and they even had their own toiletries. There were also bath robes for everyone and the boys had correct sizes.
The food was fantastic with plenty of choice and it was a real delight to be shown to a table by friendly courteous staff.
As we were leaving they were trialling a new menu which was delicious.

The grounds were beautifully kept and although the water was too cold for swimming the boys loved the indoor pool and Lewis actually learned to swim without his armbands.

The choice of drinks on all inclusive was fabulous and the staff were always around and there was never a long wait to be served. Particular mention to Natalia from the Ukraine who from the first day knew my favourite drink Ouzo Special and that of my grandson a Zorba the Zebra.

All in all a fantastic holiday and I would return in a heartbeat

I visited this hotel with some female friends recently to celebrate my friend's 50th birthday.

The hotel grounds were immaculate as was the hotel and the public areas smelt beautiful

The pool area was lovely but as others have mentioned I don't know why they do not have people coming round to take drink orders. I would expect this from a 5 star hotel. Also the pool is freezing. It was a lovely 28/29 when we were here but whilst this didn't bother me, for anyone liking a dip or coming with a family it's worth taking into consideration if visiting in October.

The food and drinks themselves were amazing. Everything we ate and drank was lovely, even buffet food and I'm not usually a buffet fan and go out my way to avoid them for evening meals.

Unfortunately we were not able to book the Italian for the duration of our stay. It seems that they always have a restaurant closed which is annoying. One of our decision making factors for choosing this hotel was its number of restaurants, so the fact that they wasn't always open was frustrating. The others were all amazing but we did have to pretty much beg to get them and one was a last minute thing because they had a cancellation.

The lady with the glasses and short hair in the Asian restaurant was amazing.

The staff as a whole were pretty fantastic and went out their way for you and the location was lovely although if you are a beach person be aware there is no beach here.

The evening entertainment was also great.

Finally we had booked Family Junior Suites with sea views as we had 3 in each room and they didn't have enough adult-only rooms. The rooms are very dated (think early 90s) and our balcony looked onto the roof of the bar below. A tiny glimpse of sea could be seen in the background but I think it's a bit of stretch calling this both a 'suite' and 'sea-view' as in my opinion it was neither. The "mini bar" was pointless and our bathroom 'gurgled' continuously. There was a good lot of storage though.

Overall I would return to this hotel with my family for a week's stay. The food, drink, cleanliness and service were done to perfection. The room wasn't a big deal to me as you aren't in it that much.

Had this hotel had better availability in the restaurants, sun bed drinks service and maybe to have the pool heated it would have got 5 stars from me.

We visited for 2 weeks as a couple in September. The hotel is very clean as other reviews have said however I would expect that of a 5 star. The rooms are large but basic and could do with a bit of refurbishment compared to other 5 stars i have stayed in. On arrival there is a bottle of water 2 cartons of juice and a small bottle of coke and sprite in fridge. After that the mini bar is not replenished and if your lucky a bottle of water may get left. It was my husbands birthday and I emailed before we arrived to let them know but nothing was left in room. When I asked if we could have a bottle of wine in room I was told I would have to pay for it, not good considering how much this holiday cost. The pool area is stunning. I know lots of people struggled to get sunbeds unless they got up early but we went on the grass and had no problem. The adults only pool looked nice but we also witnessed people arguing over sunbed allocations this probably isn't helped by the fact we were told by a group of people they weren't in the adults only section but they were friends with a tui rep who gave them the blue wrist bands so they could use the adults only pool. Food is lovely yiu get shown to a table in the buffet and then its a lottery to try n grab someone for a cup of tea or drink and the Italian is a must and the Asian. Entertainment was good by the Entertainment team but this was only on for 1 hour after which everyone had 1 bar to go to and the seating area was always full. It was very difficult to get served as people were ordering multiple drinks at a time. The wine was like vinegar and there was an extensive cocktail list they just didn't taste too good. On the evening before we left there was a chocolate cake and balloon left in our room for my husband which was a nice gesture but unfortunately we couldn't eat it as we had just had our meal. Overall its a lovely hotel it just doesn't compare to the 5 stars we have stayed in before. Most staff are very friendly and some get to know you and have a chat. Would I go back....yes but not if I was wanting 5 star.

Stayed here for 2 weeks this September and never wanted to leave.
The rooms were immaculate and cleaned daily. We were upgraded to a sea view room (highly recommend, the view is beautiful), and had a bottle of bubbly in our room as we were celebrating.
The buffet was great, different themes each night and breakfast had everything you could ever want: full English, cereal, fresh fruit, pastries, waffles and freshly made omelettes. The diner was great too for a nice sit down meal, they did burgers, ribs, steaks, wraps and delicious desserts..
We only tried the Cypriot restaurant which was great, massive portions too. The snack bar was a good place to go if you fancied something small for lunch or wanted to take a sandwich back to your room.
The pools were huge and sunbeds aplenty. You get a token each day to get a towel and give back at the end of each day. I'd recommend walking to the harbour too as very pretty and a nice walk along the front.
The evening entertainment was the best entertainment I've had. They had Thriller, Grease, Queen and many more indoors. There were also singers and dancers outside if you wanted to sit outdoors.
It was all table service for drinks and all the staff were wearing masks and extremely efficient. The cocktail menu was huge!!
Big shout out to Maria in the evening serving drinks, Doina in the diner, Vanessa at the buffet, and Daniel in the inside entertainment - all super friendly.

If you're thinking of going, just go! You won't be disappointed.

Yes you’ll be able to reserve a sun bed in the adults only section, but not by the main pool as that’s for the family rooms. Go to the towel kiosk when you arrive and give them your room number and they’ll show you the map of that area and you can select sun beds for the duration of your stay. They are flexible if you don’t like the first option and you can change them.
