Just came back from Cyprus , stayed at hotel Venus beach. 5star. I have been in many hotels ranging from 2 star to 5 star and this hotel was Neither . All inclusive what a joke ,if you want to use fridge, kettle, WiFi you have to pay for them. Food very basic had to eat out a number of...

This hotel is very badly managed and operated. The property is sad and the rooms are below average. Torn towels in the bathroom and a locked mini bar and many notices in the room which basically make you do everything and hotel staff do nothing. In paphos most hotels and restaurants have free wifi but at Venus hotel you even...

We are staying here 23 to 30 August. Hotel is average at best. The term "all-inclusive" shouldn't lead you into thinking it is, it isn't. Internet, safe, minibar, kettle, decent coffee etc are all chargeable extras. The beach (kind of a beach) has a permanent red flag and warnings of deep under currents. But it's the Venus Beach Hotel so...

We booked a stay there for 5 nights and because it's August then air con is very necessary. When we arrived we noticed the air con was warm and that was on its coldest setting. Also very noisy We informed the desk and they sent a maintenance man up, he adjusted it and said to give it an hour and...

We recently had a five night stay. Unfortunately there seems to be a misunderstanding as to which star rating this hotel belongs to. Although it is advertised as a 5 star hotel, it falls rather short of a 5 star rating. First of all this hotel is not exactly a "beach hotel", as the name suggests, the area is not...

we have just returned from the Venus Beach Hotel where we found this hotel certainly not 5 star, more 3 star. Food is very poor, we had half board but ate out frequently at extra cost. Everything such as a kettle, fridge, safe are all at extra cost, wi fi alone is at a cost of e30.00 per week but...

Honest Review I am a builder taking my 2 daughters on a family holiday , and to be honest not much disappoints us . We chose this holiday as it was 5* thought it would be lovely for the children . The hotel was well set out plenty of space to sit and relax , it was very clean and...

The room was clean. Food was below average. (I had to eat out every night) Cyprus is pretty expensive to go and eat out. Had to pay a lot for wifi (which didn't work) slush puppies, ice lollies. In a "5 star hotel"! On an advantage, the staff were lovely and always talked to us. On the last day, we...

Very basic rooms, very old and terribly shabby furniture, very basic bathroom and the hotel staff were all good people but probably had to follow very bad internal rules to upset the clients and to make them feel almost thuggs (not customers). Horrible wifi but expensive. Never worlked properly at all. Each device was supposed to have a separate username...

The hotel is not a 5 star hotel, needs updating and food requires more variety. With all that, the personal was great, especially our receptionist Mirela who went above and beyond to make sure our stay was pleasant and we had everything we need. Manuela, UK
