The hotel is in a good location for fit and healthy adults, not too far to walk to the gondala (5mins). Our first room had a big leak in the roof, when seeing reception about thiis they moved us to a family room which was fantastic up near the top of the hotel. The food was good for meateater limited...

I thought when we got there it would be easy to access the ski hire shop, it wasn't. The people were friendly but not the most pleasant people I have ever met. The so-called spa was literally non-existent as I was expecting more of a pool area than just 2 jacuzzis and a sauna ( the steam room didn't work...

Whilst the hotel staff were friendly and the rooms were ok, the food was inedible. We couldn't and wouldn't eat the food, it was dire and I would suggest anyone with any standards wouldn't eat there. Hotel Bruxelles did amazing pizzas and were very professional. Many of bars were closed as it was the last week of the season, even...

We spent a week at the Himalaia on a ski trip to Andorra in early March. We got one of their mansard rooms, i.e. some of the floor space was sacrificed, due to a low ceiling, in favor of some of the best views – which we honestly preferred, the room was still pretty big. The dining room was large,...

As part of a group of 14 (23-26yrs) I have just returned from a week skiiing in Soldeu - shattered! But it was worth it. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Himalyia. The hotel is very centrally located and a short distance walk from gondala's (approx 4mins). Plenty of bars and restaurants - would recommend Fat Al's for...

I was here with a group of friends in January 09 for a skiing holiday, booked via Crystal Holidays. The hotel is on the main street a couple of minutes downhill from the Soldeu gondola, and right in the centre of Soldeu near the Bruxelles, the supermercat, and the Avalanche and Aspen bars. There are ski lockers in the basement...

Great base for a skiing holiday. Rooms large and some with kitchen facilities. If you like to use the spa I recommend you ask for rooms 112 or 113. Food is ample and good quality. Only downside there is not a smoking ban in Andorra.

We had a great stay at the Himalaia last January and have booked to return again this year. The Hotel is in a great location, just minuets from the gondola and up to an amazing Ski area with a great ski school! The Himalia is bang in the center Soldeu and if you did want to venture out at night...
