On first impressions the hotel looks ok for the money, good location, the rooms at front of the hotel are a good size, good amenities. However the first impressions didn't last. Be warned!!!
The stand out was the staff. The 2 daytime staff on the...More
Could not believe it when on arrival they had no room for us! Lots of excuses (hole in ceiling) and very poor customer service. We booked this hotel to be near lift station but was sent to a hotel a mile out of town. When...More
Location good, rooms good, and quiet on top floor. Buffet style menu worked well for our family but the food was poor - if I cooked that badly at home the kids wouldn't eat it. The restauranr staff were always welcoming and helpful, but the...More

You can do it when you get there but by far the cheapest way is to go onto the website Soldeu. com where you can choose packages which include ski hire, lessons, lift passes and even lunch. The lunch option worked out to be half the cost of buying it on the day and included a burger or panini, drink and chips. The hotel is ideally situated for the lifts and the ski area is Perfect for skiers of all levels of experience. The ski lift pass covers the whole area and is called Grand Vilaria, not sure I've spelt that right, also if you haven't been skiing before I would suggest you take lessons as the instructors take you all over the area so that when you go off on your own in the afternoon you feel more comfortable knowing where you are going. Can't praise the area high enough. If I can help in any other way please ask.
