Not far away from Graz this little pension is a nice place to relax in the middle of the countryside. It's family friendly (lots of space for kids to play around) and the landlady very nice & helpful. On the other side, there was an annoying smell of food being cooked in the corridor.

My wife and I stayed at this small pension on the outskirts of Graz for 4 days in November. We arrived to the pension in the afternoon / evening time, and the entrance was a bit hard to find because a truck was parked in front of the sign for the pension. Also, the pension sits behind another house and not on the road. It seems the truck was a work truck and was always parked there after work hours. Otherwise, from the pension we were able to easily access the city center via the bus stop on the other side of the road. The bus connects with the tramline that took us right to the very city center and where we could connect with all the other tramlines for seeing the city. From the pension we were also able to easily reach any necessary routes for touring in the countryside. There are only 3 guest rooms and the rooms are very nice and comfy with TV and wifi. We stayed in the room to the right of the entrance, but it was very quiet, and we didn’t hear anyone coming and going. We had some problem with the drainage in the shower, but the owners were very good and quick about fixing this. Breakfasts were very nice and filling with a buffet of traditional Austrian food. The owner was very helpful and friendly. We would always ask her each morning for hot water to fill our thermos and then also for sightseeing tips which she gladly helped with. We were visiting Graz in November so we weren’t able to try out the pool or sit in the nice garden area. The garden area was decorated beautifully. I recommend staying here and would stay here again myself.
