The rooms are big and clean. The shower is ok and the breakfast is good. The internet connection it works only in the ground floor in the rooms is terrible. The service in general is ok. It is a long way from the center, but if you have a cars it not a problem.

I booked this hotel because there is parking. It is quite far from the centre of Graz. We were given a room in the Gasthof. The staff at the hotel are pleasant and helpful. which is separate from the hotel and has a restaurant. Our room was comfortable, at the back ( the hotel is on a busy road at the front) and though the bathroom was small everything worked. There is a hairdrier. Breakfast taken in the hotel was very good. To get to town it was necessary to get the bus 85 to the Hauptbahnhof. This goes from Anton Gerstl Strasse near hotel. At HBF one can get trams 1, 3, 6 or 7 to the Hauptplaz. Coming home get off at Steinbruchweg and it is a short walk down Mainsbergstrasse to hotel.

Went there for the weekend, staff was very nice and polite!
I really enjoyed the room, there was quite some space and it looked really pretty, just as the hotel itself :)
The only thing a little bit odd is that you basically share the balcony with everyone else on the floor.. And it's a little bit outside of Graz, if you're coming with your car it shouldn't be a problem though.. other than that amazing!^^ The breakfast buffet was good, there wasn't a lot of choice in my opinion, but enough to satisfy anyone.

+ The Hotel is very nice and clean.
+ Staff was very nice.
+ You can smoke in the Hotel bar, while you enjoy your beer.
+ Plenty of free parking spots.
+ Hotel restaurant is very cosy and has very good food. The salad with pumpkin seed oil was amazing.
+ Quiet
+ Rich breakfast
+ Air Condition

- Wifi didn't work in the room.
- Mini bar fridge didn't work
- Far away from city center. Stay here only if you have a car!
- You have to call the reception for adjusting the air condition

All in all I enjoyed my stay very much.

I chose the hotel because it was somewhat close to the train station..7.5 Euro taxi ride not so close. A spa ? Not really. Sauna worked but nothing else.

Run down. They allow smoking almost everywhere. So surprising for an advanced western country.

Wifi is hit and miss.

I blew it this time.

I spent only two nights in Bokan, and it was really good, except for the fact that bathroom is running on bare essentials and the location is a bit away from the center.

Rooms are spacious, with a lot of cupboard space and huge TV. There is a lot of light, since the whole wall towards the terrace is a glass panel. Terrace is shared with other rooms on that side of the hotel, but you can pull down the shutters for the privacy.

Beds are large and comfortable. Hotel is off the main streets so area is quiet and I found this a great place to sleep.

My room had WiFi (as far as I have seen, every room did) and it worked without any problems considering signal quality. TV has large selection of channels in English, German, Italian and Russian.

Bathroom is at odds with the rest of the room. It is clean (except some scale stains) and rather large, but without any amenities and with thin towels of dubious quality. Compared to the rest of the room it is very basic.

Breakfast is good, with lots of options, both warm and cold food. Cheese platter had interesting choices.

Bokan is located some 15 minutes of walking form the main railway station. There is a bus stop in the vicinity, but I did not use public transportation so I cant say much about connectivity. On thother hand, it is in a quiet and peacefull area, full of greens and fresh air.

There is a lot of parking space in front of the hotel, as well as in the garage. There are several bars and restaurants in the same street some 10 minutes of walk away.

This is a good hotel overall, but not really a 4 stars, my impression is that they could do better in all aspects to get there.
The cleaning was not my problem, my room was clean enough, but the lobby couches were really dirty though.
Breakfast was really good, the location is quiet and calm, and the room is comfortable.
The biggest problem was not having WiFi internet in the rooms, which is pretty shameful for a "business" hotel.
The exhaust fan is very lousy, and remains on for a long time after you leave the bathroom.
If you need to have dinner, the restaurant is on the other side of the street and close at 22:00, but there were a lot of smokers inside there. which was disgusting to me.

In the end, if you go there expecting a 4 stars hotel, you may be disappointed.

Spent one night at Bokan while on a business trip. The interior of the hotel is a little old fashioned (esp lobby), however the bathroom seemed to be newly refurbished. Shower head was already broken though.
The breakfast was fine, but nothing out of the ordinary. In general I would say that Bokan was an acceptable choice. I wouldn't mind going if I went to Graz on business again. However, if I for some reason would go there on vacation, I'd look elsewhere.

Hotel looks very nice from outside, staff is nice enough, with rather basic english. Rooms are spacious, clean, with balconies. First suprise is bathrom, where you won't find ANY sanitary amenities of any kind, except liquid soap in the shower. I never saw anything like this in 4 stars hotel. Second suprise is WiFi, which despite description on the webpage, simply is not there.
Things gets better during breakfast, which offers plenty of hot and cold choices, fresh fruits and reasonable coffee.
It isn't very close to city centre, but public transport is very good.

I travel for work and often come here. I always stay in this hotel and the rooms are wide and clean, food is very good and staff very polite - I am lactose intolerant so I always ask for changes while I eat there. The receptionist Bettina is amazing!
