Rooms were OK, but the TV was old with no English channels and the bed mattresses need updating.
A little on the pricy side, but still warmly recommended!
Ask for a room at the rear of the hotel (facing the gardens) - this will avoid traffic noise from the major road at the front of the hotel.
The only thing is that it is kind of off-the-map-there is a bus stop a couple of meters away, but in case you wanna go by train, you're gonna have to walk for about 1.5 kilometers from the Niklasdorf train station.
I would be glad to visit again in the spring/summertime, so I can see what the garden looks like.
I can recommend it for a short visit.
The personnel is very kind and available for any requests, also for special gluten free dishes for our celiac son.
We stayed 4 nights and for us was as to be at home.
"Try to get a room facing the mountains as the road noise on the front of the hotel would keep most people awake at night"Read full review
"The even room numbers face the garden/vally, which is more quiet and provides nice views."Read full review
