Good location, walking distance to heart of Salzburg. Standard hotel, no luxuries. Bed was not comfortable, room was clean however. A lot of alley noise from our room. Front desk and dining staff were very friendly.
Stayed here for a conference at the University of Salzburg. Everything was very good, and I had no major complaints.

My husband and I walked from the train station. It is a pretty direct route, but takes around 15 minutes. We only had one suitcase each, so walking was easy. At the information desk in the train station, you can ask for the bus number. The bus stop is outside the train station. You can also take a taxi if you have a lot of luggage.
