Great location, very helpful staff. When we stayed temperatures were in the high 30s so the very efficient air conditioning was very welcome. We ate in the restaurant on the first night of our stay and the food was very good, the menu had a choice of Austrian specialities and modern classics, the organic herb soup was especially good. Breakfast...

Bristol is a hotel where the atmosphere recalls earlier times. The hotel is not modern but it is charming and comfortable. It is also very well located, just a few steps away from Mirabel Gardens and in front of Mozart Haus. The breakfast is very good and the staff is very helpful.

My wife and I spent an enjoyable week in June 2012 at the Hotel Bristol. Last time we were in Salzburg we stayed at a hotel in the Old Town. The Bristol is on the other side of the river where there is less hustle and bustle and with a good array of shops and restaurants. The hotel is not...

Ya gotta love a hotel who considers mid-May, 72 degrees the off season just because there are no music festivals in town. Our most affordable junior suite was quoted as 53 sq meters which I can not confirm nor deny since I have not done metric conversions since 7th grade. Unofficially our bedroom was 400 sq ft, with another 250...

Great location (near to almost every attraction), a very comfortable traditionally furnished Austrian hotel but with all the modern amenities that today's discerning Traveler needs (air-conditioning, in-house parking, internet etc). Nothing is too much trouble for the friendly and efficient staff who go out of their way to make your stay an enjoyable one. The Bristol rightly receives the number...

We have spent a weekend there at the end of May, during the Festival, which was a great experience indeed. The location of the hotel, the ambiance, the friendly, efficient service and the food - everything was excellent, highly contributing to our satisfaction. We shall be back soon again.

You can feel the History of this hotel-It was a pleasure and my wife and I enjoyed this very much. Brekfast buffet was first class. We stayed only one night and we wish we had more time here. Of course, Salzburg is a place to fall in love with.

I took a last minute holiday here just before the Festival - a great time to go to Salzburg, just before the place goes a little crazy. The location couldn't be better. The hotel is on Makart Platz which is right next to the river and just a five minute walk to the Altstadt, which is the tourist centre. Buses...

My husband and I stayed at the Bristol Hotel for 6 nights. The hotel is beautiful with lots of crystal chandeliers, including one over our bed. It is in a great location next to Mirabell gardens and close to the bridge to the old part of the city. The breakfast buffet was wonderful with a large variety of food and...
