I stayed with my husband and 2 teenage children for 3 nights over the new year. We stayed in 2 spacious double rooms next to each other, both with a balcony. Rooms were clean and comfortable with large beds and extra blankets. Breakfast was a good choice of breads, croissants, cold meats, cheeses, eggs, juice and plenty of fresh tea...

This hotel is situated in the beautiful area with lots of typical Austrian houses with flowers and gardens. The house where we were staying was amazing, we made a lot of pictures. It was nice to come to our room after busy and crowded Salzburg. Nearby there are some very good restaurants with delicious food! The breakfast was great, everything...

For a bed and breakfast Pension Helmhof was a very nice place to stay. The neighborhood is very very quiet so you can't do anything other but relax. Which brings me to its location. You are completely out of town and at a distance from the train station and the "new" Salzburg. At the 10th bus stop we could get...

Lovely Bed and Breakfast family run pension outside Salzburg. Quietly located, good breakfast and very friendly and helpful hosts. Walking distance to a good restaurant and bus line. Nice, spacious and clean rooms, pool Lovely breakfast which can be consumed outside on the patio. WiFi available only in reception area. Can highly recommend!

A family operated hotel, there are two quiet houses for guests, the room is large & clean. In the morning, the owner will put the orange juice (also newspaper) on the dinning table waiting for their guests. Before we left China, we sent a mail to enquiry if there is hot water pot in the room, we found the pot...

The owner reminded us of Norman Bates, odd guy and very not welcoming. There were cockroaches in the room! when requesting extra pillow he declined and there was also no internet in the room. Adding to that the location which is far from city center - the hotel isn't recommended at all!'n

Dear guest! First of all we want to thank you for having chosen our house. We truly regret, that you have such impressions from your stay. Our countrysidehouse is renovated and has an traditional style which many people like, but of course this is a question of personal taste. We offer the w-lan only in the public areas because of...

The rooms are big and clean. That includes big bathrooms. They didn't have any rooms with two beds, so ended up with a single queen bed. Free wi-fi was available only near the lobby, but I didn't try it out. Free parking for the car. No elevator, so be prepared to haul your luggage up some stairs. Breakfast was available...

We stayed in this pension as a stopover for 2 nights on our way south. We couldn't have been happier with our choice. It's a truly Austrian family-run pension. Because of it's location on the outskirts of Salzburg, it feels like you're staying on the countryside. There's a nice restaurant on walking distance, with a good but basic Austrian cuisine....

Room was really big, nice balcony. Staff was really friendly and helpful with some directions. It is about a ten minute walk to bus stop and from there 15-20 from the train station and the old part of town was only downside for us If doing your own driving would be great location but if planning on public transportation maybe...

Everything about this BnB / Pension is great. Homely feel, cozy, well furnished, spacious rooms with a balcony. Great quiet surroundings. Couple of great restaurants within walking distance... Everything is fine apart from the breakfast which wasnt bad at all ... just a bit limited. The owner actually makes his own marmalade etc so it added to the homely feel...
