We'd had a long day in salzburg when we arrived and it was a very hot day - probably 35C or so. Touring with 2 children usually means lugging lots of luggage around - the rather lovely family room was in the roof, which meant it was quite a struggle to get the luggage up two flights of stairs with... We were there in august, my wife my two cildren and I. The rooms are confortable and clean. The staff vary available and kind but they don't speak Italian (there were 4Italian families). It is only 15 minutes by bus to the center and there are two station near the hotel .

The Lilienhof hotel is all around great! First, the staff is very friendly. They pointed us to the best attractions and tastiest restaurants. Second, the rooms are nice and cozy! It's a nice safe and secure spot but not dead. 10/10 thanks for the awesome visit!

We have stayed here overnight. Overall the stay was average. Good was, that the hotel is not far from the centre, parking is free, dogs are allowed, breakfast included. The best on the stay was the friendly and polite lady on the reception, always ready to help.

This proved to be a good base for us to use to explore Austria. Easy parking on site, close to main roads and a short drive into the beautiful city of Salzburg. Hotel itself is nothing special, but is clean with pleasant rooms and excellent value. I didn't catch the proprietor's name but he was certainly very friendly and helpful.... More

A nice place about 25 minutes from main train station. Has a bus stop (No. 28) right next to it. The room was nice though small and the hosts are friendly. Has a Chinese restaurant in house but no other food place nearby.

I spent three nights at this hotel. It is not in downtown, but it takes only 15 minutes by bus. You can take the 20 and 28 buses just outside of the hotel. The room was big and well equipped. Breakfast is included in the price. They serve excellent Austrian/German food. Staff is really kind. You just need to tell... More

This is a nice, small, family-owned (I assume) hotel. It reminds me of those nice big houses that is turned into a motel. We arrived very late at night but called the hotel and they left us keys so that we could enter on our own. The reception doesn't work 24hours so it's important to arrange arrival/departure with them. We... More

We chose this hotel because of it's location close to the highway for ease of parking on our self-drive holiday. We booked the family room which was a large top floor room that sleeps four with large skylight windows. There was plenty of space, the beds were fine and everything was clean and organised. The staff were friendly and helpful.... More
