We had a nice comfortable room. When we arrived we received a big nice room with a window to the inner court. The bed was too firm for us, and we asked to change the room to one with a softer matrasse. It was not...More

Thank you very much for your short but expressive review.

For our first visit to Vienna I wanted to stay in a hotel with character, could accommodate a family of 4, and was well located to the major attractions. Hotel Konig Von Ungarn did not disappoint. It is located only 100m from St Stephens Cathedral,...More
Friends recommended this hotel and we were not disappointed. We took the CAT from the airport and walked to the hotel which was less than 10 minutes from the station. The front desk staff were all very friendly and helpful. Our room faced the street...More

Firstly the hotel was fine, the front desk were helpful, the housekeeping staff were good. The rooms were a good size and clean, as was the bathroom. The location is perfect. The restaurant food was average, all staff except one were friendly, helpful people. All...More
Stayed here for a week at the end of December. When our taxi pulled up a friendly member of staff rushed out to take our cases and welcome us.

In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The
Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.

We stayed in a beautiful suite that was two stories with a king size bed and bathroom in the lower floor and two single beds on the second floor with a second private bathroom and a living area. It is one of the largest rooms that I’ve ever stayed in Europe, with the exception of renting flats via VRBO. Each room is so unique. It is an amazing place to stay and your family will love it!
