The Hotel Konig von Ungarn is a charming hotel, splendidly located right in the heart of Vienna, with a friendly staff providing top-notch service in all areas. It was a pleasure to be in the hotel, whether having coffee or a drink in the comfortable interior courtyard, or eating in the restaurant, or relaxing in the spacious bedrooms. It has...

Perfectly situated, this small hotel offers top-notch accommodations, marvelous service and all the extra touches that make it a first-class hotel. The front desk is helpful, the dining room staff are gracious and the hotel's furnishings are tasteful. The dining room offers good value for good food. It's a little gem!

This adorable little hotel is just around the corner from Stephansdom/Stephansplatz and very close to the Ubahn (metro). The rooms in the new portion were efficient, clean and modern with a different chocolate on the desk each day. The service was the best. The desk staff were truly wonderful and pleasant and very helpful with directions, reservations or whatever you...

Wow! What an experience. No one can resist staying here again and I will also come back. Large rooms with king-size bed. Very attentive staff. Room service was also very good. Staff arranged dinner in nearby restaurants for 3 consecutive days and they selected really good restaurants for us. Rooms have enough space to roam around and to put your...

We liked the hotel very much. Very pleasant dining room and breakfast was delicious. Hotel staff were very nice except the admission that only one out of four we met was nice, the rest were sour.

We spent four nights there between Christmas and the New Year. The location is ideal for visiting Vienna with most of the attractions within walking distance. The hotel staff were highly efficient and helpful with good friendly service throughout our stay - and before we arrived they managed to get tickets for us to a concert at the Musikverein which...

I have no hesitation recommending the Konig von Ungarn Hotel. We really enjoyed the hotel. It's character fits Vienna and its small size made it very comfortable. This was our second stay. We were there for four nights this time and thoroughly enjoyed both our stays. The location is ideal for sightseeing, right next to Stephansplatz. There are shops and...

I stayed in this hotel three times while traveling to Vienna for medical care for my four-year-old. The first and second times we stayed in the older part on the second floor. The room was very spacious and was decorated in an opulent style. The bed was very comfortable, the room was quiet, and the breakfast was very nice. The...

Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
