I reviewed this hotel before and am happy to do so a second time. I did check into other properties but decided to go back here because of price and location. This is perhaps the cleanest property I have ever stayed in. You could not find a speck of dust even on the fancy chandaliers. My husband cut himself and...

Our second trip to this charming old fashioned hotel a short stroll away from the very centre of town. Easy to get to from the airport (train to Wien Mitte, then 2 stops on the subway), trams to take you further afield are just around the corner and, of course, you're in the Old Town. Our room was enormous by...

I'm frequent visitor this cosy hotel since over 30 years, yearly at least twice. I feel myself at home and I'm very much satisfied with the behaviour of the personnel, the rooms and facilities. The hotel is only in few steps to St.Stephan, metro and center of Vienna. The rooms are quiet, no noise from the street. If you're not...

I've never said 10/10 for anywhere before, but I can now. Fantastic staff, 5* service with manners and charm. Lovely large bedroom (and bed), all the facilities that anyone could ask for. The hotel has a lovely atrium to sit and enjoy a glass or 2 and all reasonably priced. Breakfast was eagerly looked forward too, and never disappointed. The...

Our first visit to Vienna was wonderful thanks to our choice of this hotel. We had a car but we were able to park it in a nearby garage for the length of our stay. The hotel is located within walking distance to everything we wanted to see and do. From the moment we arrived, the staff was welcoming and...

Just got back from Vienna. Stayed at the Konig Von Ungarn. This was a lovely hotel and we had a huge room with a walk-in wardrobe area. The glass covered bar is very nice and we found the prices reasonable compared with other hotels we have stayed in.

In Wien for a congress. Chose this hotel on the basis of other Tripadvisor reviews. The location in Altstadt Wien is convenient, just 50 m from Stephans Dom. Easy access to every part of Vienna from the Stephansplatz U-bahn station. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was modern, clean and peacful. Street noice was not a problem on...

This is a lovely understated classic beautifully built and beautifully maintained hotel. Relatively small by modern day standards, it is close to the pedestrian way that begins at the cathedral and ends at the Vienna Opera House. The staff is welcoming without being obsequious. The breakfast was excellent; we had served in the spacious and well appointed room at no...

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
