Stayed here earlier this week on Monday. The hotel was booked for me by a colleague. 25 minutes from the airport. Easy to find in the 1020 district of Vienna on a main road and shopping area. The hotel offers a very warm and friendly charm. The reception area is ornate and service here was excellent. Took literally 3 minutes...

Very warm and modern business hotel with loads of charm next to the river in the old quarter. Excellent service, wonderful breakfast and good value overall. Free internet and modern rooms, parking expensive €22 per night. Highly recommended for short visits.

We stayed for 3 nights with friends at this wonderful hotel - well positioned within easy reach of Vienna centre (a few minutes walk). From the professional and friendly reception at check-in to the friendly and charismatic bar man and the brilliant breakfast buffet there was absolutely nothing to find fault with. It is an old hotel so the room...

Without knowing they're of the same network, We had stayed 2 years before in the 'City Central' hotel,, just 2 houses south of the Schick hotels network, and 'Stefanie' didn't disappoint at all. Room was great and wide, free and of great quality wi-fi in the room (!!!) - the first I ever encountered in Europe, just excellent breakfast buffet,...

Only one night spent there, on business trip. Pros: - Location, close to everywhere, subway, river, center of the old City, city center, CAT etc., although the closest location in the night is rather quiet (closed bars and restaurants); - Nice restaurant, great breakfast; - It has a co-op with gym next door, which is kind of cool solution for...

I stayed many times to Stefanie because I love this hotel but last time, 10.01.2015-12.01.2015, I had an unpleasant stay! The room, 315, had a bad smell, was very small, the bathroom sink was broken and the walls need to be repainted. Also the towels were grey and quality very poor. This 4 star hotel should't have such 2 star...

We loved this hotel, first we arrived very early and I was sure we would have to wait until later to check in. However our room was ready and we were able to go right to it. The breakfast is also awesome, one of the best breakfast buffets I think I have had. Just be aware the dining room can...

This is a very pleasant well-run hotel in a good location, not quite central but easy access to the centre. The single rooms are warm and comfortable, the breakfast is excellent and the dining options are also first rate. We stayed 3 nights without any problems and would thoroughly recommend this charming hotel.

Staying in Leopoldstadt

Neighbourhood Profile
Leopoldstadt
Welcome to one of Vienna’s trendiest quarters. The second district has witnessed a turbulent ride, from medieval swamp to vibrant Jewish quarter, from pleasure ground for the noble and humble to current hip residence and workplace of Vienna’s creative crowd. Cross the Danube Canal from the city centre and take in life on Taborstrasse with its mix of old townhouses, churches, theatres, discount shops and ethnic restaurants. Head for Augarten via Karmelitermarkt, Leopoldstadt’s trendy marketplace. Baroque Augarten itself hosts a bizarre mix of manicured hedges and flowerbeds in front of a colossal World War II defense tower, the publicly accessible 300-year-old Augarten porcelain manufactory, the palatial boarding school and funky concert hall of the Vienna Boys Choir, and the modern art museum TBA21. At its opposite corner, The Prater not only houses the Giant Ferris Wheel but blends a bustling amusement park with lush woodland, perfect for a bike tour. Further east is the old derby racing ground of Krieau.
