Lovely hotel and very helpful friendly staff. We liked this hotel as it was a small homely place to stay. The rooms were high quality and comfortable. The breakfast was great. We would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is ideally situated for exploring Vienna. Its about 10 mins walk to the Metro and 20 min walk from the train station which bring you in from the airport. We used the CAT train but later worked out it was cheaper to pick up a taxi from the airport as the CAT cost as much if not more....

A quiet pedestrianised side street just a few minutes walk from the Opera House. The hotel was charming and welcoming with a large comfortable room and bathroom and excellent buffet breakfast. We would definitely stay here again.

I had the opportunity to stay at this boutique hotel located in a pedestrian road off the famous shopping street Kartnerstrasse and few meters walk to the State Opera. Located in an old building with a very long and unique name it reflects across all its public areas and rooms an old fashioned viennese character. I had a twin bedded...

A nice hotel in a good location of Vienna. It's in a quiet street, so it's easy to sleep well at night. Good location close to the main shopping area. Close to some brilliant restaurants including a short walk to Pluchetta. Breakfast was ok, nothing special but did the job. The room was nice and clean as was the bathroom....

On a quiet side street only a few paces from Vienna's main shopping street the Roemischer Kaiser is perfectly placed to explore the city's many treasures. It was freezing cold (minus 10) when we visited but the welcome couldn't have been warmer. The rooms are generously sized, reasonably priced and the breakfast, with freshly squeezed orange and delicious croissants, one...

An excellent choice this boutique hotel in the heart of Vienna! We stayed just before Christmas, with our son, had a junior suite which was indeed very comfortable for the 3 of us. The Versace bathrooms are an interesting addition and the rooms are very nicely decorated, extremely well heated, a big-bonus when temperatures drop below zero! Breakfast room very...

We really enjoyed our stay in this Hotel for New Year's eve. The location is absolutely perfect and there are two parking lots nearby, be careful to check the prices as there is quite a different in prices between the two. The breakfast is excellent and the people are extremely nice. We were going to the Hofburg ball and they...

A landmark building right in the middle of the city. Great location and a real feel of old Vienna. Delicious breakfast, friendly staff and wonderful location. Rooms and bathrooms are tastefully decorated not to mention the Versace tiles. This jewel is now our regular hotel in Vienna.

We chose this hotel for its charm and great location and we weren't disappointed. It was very easy to get to being in the pedestrian centre of Vienna. The large room was clean and well appointed, and the staff were extremely helpful and courteous.

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
