I'm enjoying my stay here very much. The location is, of course, not to be topped. The hotel is exceptionally clean and modern while retaining the character of Vienna. Staff if courteous and helpful and respectful. I'll be back for two more nights next week and feel great about that. This is at least the fifth hotel I've visited in...

we were very pleased with this hotel, having been upgraded to one of their best rooms with a huge terrace/balcony all to ourselves, our room a good size, ditto the lovely bathroom. the hotel is ideally situated for getting around central Vienna, with an underground station almost next door, ditto tram stops. the hotel reception was particularly good, unfailingly courteous...

We stayed for one night in the suite overlooking st Stephan's cathedral. It was magical!!! Everything is at your footsteps. The breakfast buffet which is included was delicious and varied. Metro is right outside your doorway way. This location can't be beat. At night there was a bit of noise from the square but ear plugs and a night cap...

The Hotel AM Stephansplatz was wonderful. It is located in the center of town; walking distance to almost everything in the downtown area and across from St Stephen Cathedral. Luxurious bath; great breakfast. Service was great with friendly and helpful staff.

We stayed in Room 702 for roughly 5 days and loved every minute of it. It's a suite with the terrace overlooking St. Stephans Cathedral which is literally the very center of the city. The U-bahn (subway/metro) is right outside as well as shopping on Graben/Kohlmarkt and many great places for good food. We walked to Hofsburg palace/Spanish Riding School/Sisi...

We stayed for 3 nights for our first visit to Vienna. This location could not have been better for a first time visitor who wants to see as much as possible within the 1st district. We had a very quiet room in the back of the hotel as per my request, which was appreciated. The staff are very helpful and...

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
