While the hotel was quite nice and close to everything there were a number of issues that make me tell people not to stay there. When everything goes well with your stay at a hotel it's easy for the staff to be friendly however it is when problems come up that the true quality of service comes out. First issue...

Dear Hotel Guest, Thank you for your review below. Getting feedback from our guests is very important for us, even if it is unfortunately not that positive in this case. We would like to take this opportunity to point out the following: One of your rooms has been booked by yourself one day before actual arrival. Just when all of...

We had 4 nights in Vienna recently and, prompted by good Trip Advisor reviews chose the Kaiserin Elizabeth. We chose well. We were met at the airport by a taxi, arranged by the hotel. This is well worth the fare. On our arrival at the hotel we were welcomed by friendly and professional staff who all spoke excellent English. When...

One of the best hotels I've ever been to. Very Viennese aesthetically, excellent staff & services, great interiors, very clean, good facilities. I liked every single bit of this hotel. The only thing it lacks is the restaurant, but I wouldn't count this as a disadvantage because it gives you a push to walk around and choose from a vast...

Booked this hotel based on previous reviews. I can't say enough about the helpful front staff, no request was too small. After travelling for 3 weeks in Austria this was one of the best breakfast buffets I experienced. Location is fabulous and I never heard one street noise, except the bells from St. Stephens Cathedral. I used the computers in...

Loved the history, the spacious room & bathroom. Average breakfast. Friendly staff? Depends on who's at the desk. Wifi nearly non existent. None in the room and very weak in the lobby. Strongly recommend. Hope Internet access problem resolved when we visit again.

The rooms at this hotel are luxurious and extremely comfortable. The breakfast is outstanding as is the service. The helpful front desk staff are very well connected and will ease your stay and help get tickets to performances that are not easily available if you try by yourself or through other agencies. And I haven't as yet mentioned location! This...

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
