Location is very convenient just near Main rail station and bus terminal. We arrived by train and departed by bus to Bratislava and don't need to bother for transportation to it: just walk. Also short walk (5-10 minutes) to main architectural attractions and many museums. Nicely decorated with Prince Eugen memorabilia. Room is small but cozy and well-maintained. No view...

Stayed here on my way to/from the Czech Republic. I chose this place mainly because of its location (in front of the main train station) and did not expect too much. Although the exterior did not look particularly attractive, this hotel was in fact one of the classy ones in Vienna. The room was clean and comfortable. One of the...

As a veteran of several easy jet city break packages I am used to somewhat ahem basic accommodation but this is distinctly classy. Spotlessly clean, friendly staff, excellent breakfast and a proper solid shower that doesn't have any nasty hot'n'cold suprises. Plus an abundance of chandeliers. Nice. Also dead easy to get to from the airport

Once you have mastered the vagaries of the links between the Vienna tube and the Hauptbanhof the Hottl Prinz Eugen is well situated to enable visitors to explore a range of the delights of one of Europe's great cities. Within walking distance is the Belvedere - a perfect gallery for a morning or afternoon visit. And a few stops along...

You get value for money in Hotel Prinz Eugen. Excellent location - next to Wien Hauptbahnhof offering frequent and cheap transport to an from the airport. Streetcars and Metro (U-bahn) within walking distance, and five minutes walk from Belvedere. Interesting walks into the center of Wien: Staatsoper, museums e.g. Albertina and lovely cafées. Clean and nice rooms with newly renovated...

When I saw the outside I felt a little deflated as it looks a very plain building and two doors down was a building site. However once in the lobby all the outside world is forgotten. It's well decorated in that renaissance style of Austria. Staff were polite and helpful. The room was a bit on the small side but...

The room was really big, but does need updating, the bathroom was modern and functional, even though the room needs updating the cleaning standards are impeccable. The breakfast was good with tasty coffee, it was buffet style and always replenished. The bed was comfortable and it gave a good night's sleep.

Hotel Prinz Eugen is a really well situated hotel. It is right opposite the train station (which also contains quite a few shops and restaurants), a five minute walk away from the Military History Museum and the Schloss Belvedere is literally just around the corner. We stayed from 12th - 16th December so the 40+ Christmas markets were taking place...

We were very satisfied with our four night stay at Hotel Prinz Eugen. The room was comfortable. Quite a wide range range of breakfast food - cereals, cooked food , ham , cheese, bread rolls, toast , yogurt, fruit juice and fresh fruit. Coffee could have been fresher. Excellent location. 5 minutes from the main railway station and 15 minutes...

Staying in Wieden

Neighbourhood Profile
The fourth district combines elegant tradition with contemporary style and relaxed living.
