Prinz Eugen is for me typical Vienna-style hotel, means slightly "vintage" style, all the equipment was not the most modern, but at the end all was well mainained, clean and functioning. Hotel is well located in terms of access to public transport - main train station is 5 minutes walk, underground also 5 min, tram is on the other side...

We stayed in this hotel for one overnight after formal dinner. The location is good (especially for those, who travel with public transport), the hotel is clean, the interior is nice and the price-value relationship was in your case very good. On the other hand, don not expect too much or something breathtaking. The hotel is good 3* hotel- definitely...

We stayed 3 nights in the hotel. It is near to the center and the rooms are small and old fashioned but clean. Breakfast is very simple without any specials. We told the stuff that the room is too warm in the night and the air is not good. They told us that the air condition is switched off in...

This traditionell hotel is located on the Wiedner Gürtel in the 4th district of Vienna. The rooms are big and the bathroom is newly furnished and equipped. Public transport is available in short walking distance. Also the castle of Belvedere can be reached in 10 minutes by foot.

I have stayed at the Prinz Eugen many times and am never disappointed. This is a well-run hotel which should not be overlooked. It has excellent value. Although it may not appear that stunning from the outside, it is very nice inside. The rooms are spotless with free WiFi and those away from the street and on the upper floors...

The location of the Hotel was good, 3 min's walk from Main station and underground. Reception was open 24 hours, room was clean and neat and there was a great chouce of breakfest items. Especially for people who don't eat bread.

Stayed in the Hotel Prinz Eugen for three nights while visiting our daughter who had just had a baby. We found the hotel very comfortable, lovely and warm as it was freezing outside. The towels were changed every day and the breakfasts very fine, fresh fruit, fresh rolls, lots of coffee and tea. It is very close to the underground,...

Very nice hotel with very good quality - for room, for breakfast. Not bad location. Distance from the e center is may be 2 km, but we take for 20 min by walk. Windows are soundproofed and can sleep very good.

I chose the Hotel Prinz Eugen for my week-long stay to Vienna because when I surveyed the available flight-hotel options through Hotwire, this was the least expensive hotel that met my criteria: Breakfast included, reasonable price, near public transportation, decent reviews on Tripadvisor. Location: The Hotel Prinz Eugen isn't located near any attractions other than the Belvedere, the Heeresgeschichtliches Museum...

Just came back from Vienna and 5 days in Prinz Eugen. We enjoyed our stay very much. The rooms were good size and comfortable. The breakfast was very good with nice choice of items. Free wifi. The staff was very helpful and did an excellent job. Very good transportation to and from the hotel - the underground station (U1) close...

Staying in Wieden

Neighbourhood Profile
The fourth district combines elegant tradition with contemporary style and relaxed living. More than a dozen town palaces and churches such as St. Charles Borromeo have added glamour to a neighbourhood known for its traditional retail and crafts shops, taverns, cafés. Wieden is also home to Naschmarkt, Vienna’s largest street market.
