A lovely sidestreet hotel in the heart of ‘old town’ Vienna. Clean. Nice people. Great service. And a generous breakfast choice of meats, cheeses, fruit, yoghurts, breads, preserves and, for those who prefer something hot, bacon/sausage and eggs. The Graben is literally minutes away (almost seconds) from Stefansplatz - and you don’t get more central than that!. Round the corner...

Perfect hotel, very very cozy and beautiful with its special character, the hotel is situated on the very quiet small street in old city, two minutes walk to San Stefan cathedral, the staff also is very nice. Breakfast is very tasty and includes cold cuts, salads, scrambled eggs, bacon and sausages. What I've liked the most that the combination of...

I stayed in the hotel for 5 nights in November 2016. The best thing about the hotel is the location - it really is right in the middle of the old city, steps from the U Bahn. The room itself was fine, the staff are pleasant, breakfast was good, and wifi worked well. Nothing is outstanding - except the location,...

A most friendly location and the opportunity to enjoy comfort in the classical viennese style, near to many famous sites of the city. A warm touch at first glance in the room : the heart shape traditional arrangement of a towel is a wellcoming image, centered by the wellcome chocolate!

This hotel is clean, the staff was very friendly and the food (I had breakfast and diner there) was good. The room and hotrl are very simple in decoration though. But with the placement ot has, 50 meters from Viennas main shopping street Graben, that is overseeable. They should, however, consider not playing classical music at breakfast though.

The hotel is in the center of town, within walking distance to all major sites: cathedral, museum quarter, palaces, etc. The price/value is excellent. I stayed in a single room on the third floor. The room was quiet, clean, small and adequate. The bathroom was clean and everything worked well; more than enough hot water. The breakfast is adequate: eggs,...

Another hotel recommended by our travel agent. It's location was just fantastic as were 100 metres from St Stephens cathedral & the underground station of Stephanplatz. Easy walking distance to the Spanish Riding School, Hofburg Palace, Vienna State Opera, Jewish Museum & Albertina. As the hotel is located within the Ringstrasse, you're right in the centre of Vienna. A great...

Staying in Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
