Stayed whilst at a conference in HALLE. Great Central location and good price for room only. Didn't have breakfast here as wanted to charge 24.99 euros per person which is a bit steep. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Room is of a good size with the standard amenities. One downside was that the room was very hot. Had the...

The hotel is centrally located with a metro on its doorstep. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was included in our deal and it was grand. The only negative was that the laminate floor in our room was a bit tired. I would recommend, and would definitely use again.

There are a number of NH hotels in the city so be sure to arrive at the right one. This hotel offered an airport shuttle service by taxi for only 40Euros which between four of us seemed very easy. Mariahilfer Strasse is one of the main shopping streets in Vienna and is right in the centre within ten minutes walk...

Good place for a city visit, great rooms. Breakfast is expensive and better to get it outside of the hotel. Fitness is very small as well as sauna, but well maintained. There is no restaurant but good places close by.

We were meeting family here and the hotel placed our rooms together across the hall. Both had small kitchenettes (microwave, sink, mini fridge), a table to eat at, and sofa that changed to bed. The location was perfect as it is located on Mariahilfer Strasse which is where the locals shop. The one entrance to the hotel puts you right...

Rooms are quite OK pretty clean. There is free WiFi but at terrible speed otherwise if you don't want to get old until your page is loading you'll have to pay 9-10 eur/24 hrs. TV has a lot of German channels so basically is better to go for shopping or read a book in the hotel. Entrance of the hotel...

The hotel on Mariahilfer strasse is a good place to look around in Vienna on foot. Since Mariahilfer has been rebuilt it is worth staying there. Friendly and helpful staff, spacious room, easy access from wherever you come.

Staying in Neubau

Neighbourhood Profile
Neubau
Vienna’s art district, Neubau buzzes with galleries, arts and crafts, trendy restaurants, avant-garde shops, and cafés. Neubau’s Spittelberg quarter with cobblestoned Spittelberggasse and Gutenberggasse make for a perfect stroll alongside Biedermeier houses and art shops. Don’t miss the historic courtyard at Amerlinghaus with its typical Pawlatschen galleries, a perfect hangout on a warm summer evening. Museumsquartier is Neubau’s undisputed highlight: the former Imperial stables house various top museums of 19th to 21st century art. If you love interiors, head for the Imperial Furniture museum (Hofmobiliendepot), one of the world’s largest furniture collections. Find your favorites among a dazzling array of Baroque, Biedermeier, Art Nouveau and Modernist chairs, sofas, cupboards, coat hangers, foot stools and wash basins. No weekend visit would be complete without stopping by a local café on a weekend morning for brunch.
