Everything was ok, breakfast was Wunderbar (marvelous). Very clean, very nice staff, all of them are speaking 3 languages or more, with record of 5 ! As a bad point we can mention not having a refrigerator in a 3 star room. Very close to a central metro station, however also somewhat quiet as the hotel is not located on...

From the very first interaction we found the Altwienerhof to be warm, helpful, positive and well organised. We tend to have a mild aversion to super luxury 5 star deluxe hotels and were seeking a well run, family atmosphere and clean place to stay in Vienna that was well connected. The Altwienerhof easily met these needs and the room that...

The hotel is quaint with an inner courtyard garden and decent breakfast room. The bedroom was clean and spacious. However, we had prepaid with lastminute.com and the receptionist at the end seemed unaware of this and tried to charge us again. We had also been told by another receptionist when we came that breakfast was included, so we had breakfast...

We are now back from our trip to Vienna – we enjoyed it! Beautiful city, very convenient for tourists. We stayed at Alterwienerhof Hotel and must say that we loved it. Great location, 1 min away from Gumpendorfer Strasse metro station and bus 57A stop, which brings you right to the center. Upon our arrival we were upgraded to a...

We booked what was supposed to be a suite..it turned out to be a large bedroom with desk, chair, tv, small round table with two arm chairs and a king bed, attached was a small single bedroom with a couch in it. The couch should have been in the large room with the TV, it was useless in the room...

It was our second stay in Vienna (christmas this time) and my girlfriend found the most amazing offer online for the altwienerhof - about 40E/night for a double or something like that - in full Christmas! We're campers/backpackers usually but now we wanted to raise the standards a bit :) I don't know if it was our hotel lack of...

My colleague and I stayed here for 5 days for a convention. We had a convenient, clean suite, a place that we liked to come back to in the evenings. Breakfast was very good and the hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The neighbourhood is quiet , yet there is an underground station nearby and it is very easy to...

I requested a pretty room and ended up with a suite- chintz covered loveseat and chair, an enormous bathtub and separate shower in one room and a toilet and bidet in another. We looked out on trees and a courtyard which, in late Sept. was quiet. Our room was charming and felt like Vienna! The breakfast was substantial[ cook-your-own bacon...

My friend and I stayed at this property for three nights in February 2007 and overall would say that it was a pleasant experience. At 50 Euros a night for a twin room and with its proximity to the train station it was a great price! Initially we were placed in this beautiful old room but mistakenly they put us...
