Me wife and I stayed here for three nights during our visit. This hotel is very well located very close to Stephansplatz square and subway station. Breakfast was provided each morning consisting of scrambled eggs, meats, cheeses, bakery items, juices, and coffee/espresso and it was...More
I had a nice stay with my family, the rooms were nice and clean. The hotel is very well located, in the middle of the city center, 2 minutes walking from metro station.
The breakfast is simple but very good
Very convenient location, near St Stephen's Cathedral. The hotel lobby has this old worldly charm aura about it. My room's balcony faced St Peter's Cathedral (unfortunately the back end of it). The breakfast was basic but okay. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
This is one of my favourite hotels!! Situated perfectly in the "center" of everything -yet quite. Great rooms, fantastic bed, friendly staff, very good service. Good working place and the view to the dome is calming. I will be back one of these days.

In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The
Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
Again, I will repeat what the above reviewer rote ... we were a group of 55 people and I know that 3 gals roomed together ... there was a room with twin beds but then they had a separate little room with another single bed... More
Again, I will repeat what the above reviewer rote ... we were a group of 55 people and I know that 3 gals roomed together ... there was a room with twin beds but then they had a separate little room with another single bed ... not sure which floor this was on but you can ask this question through their website. Good luck. I hope they can accommodate your request ... you will enjoy staying at the Wandl and it's great location! Happy Travels!
