Our agent booked this pension as it was in the center of Vienna. We are older travellers and need a little space. We struggled to get to our room and it was just too small to hold us and our luggage. If we were 50...More
Great location. Good size room. Helpful staff. Basic but adequate breakfast. No aircon. All OK for a stopover but lacking just a little with small things such as television stations, air-conditioning, room fitout.
Everything was closer than I expected. Hofburg, Albertina, Opera house, Cafe Central, were just minutes away by foot. Staff were very helpful with suggestions on getting around, calling taxis, etc. Nice bar for a beer or drink in the evening too. But note that there...More

In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The
Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
